The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Suck misses with a head kick.
Fluke keeps the fight on the outside. Suck has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Fluke looks for a takedown but Suck sprawls well. Suck shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Fluke's guard. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Suck looking to pass the guard. Suck wants to get up but he can't break Fluke's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Fluke had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Suck defends it easily. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Fluke is trying to control the position but Suck postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fluke is looking to cinch up a triangle. Suck throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Fluke's body to avoid the submission. Fluke has instead reached around Suck's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Fluke arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

Toby Fluke decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rothko defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Joaquin. Joaquin shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Rothko as he avoids it easily. Rothko throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Joaquin's waist but Joaquin gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Rothko off to one side. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Rothko . No luck with that takedown attempt from Rothko . That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Walter Rothko . That's going to take a lot out of him. Rothko closes the distance and clinches up with Joaquin, looking for a takedown. Rothko pushes Joaquin against the cage but Joaquin circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Rothko shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Joaquin as he avoids it easily. Joaquin will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Rothko shoots in for a takedown. Rothko defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Joaquin. Rothko gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Joaquin to score an easy takedown into full guard. Rothko is trying to keep Joaquin in close.

Rothko ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Rothko no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Rothko working a defensive guard but Joaquin passes into half guard.
Joaquin is looking to take a break and control but Rothko is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Rothko is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Walter Rothko will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Rothko , winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Gatto Besti dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Cote wants to clinch but Besti slips to the side and Besti counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Cote! Besti trying to control the action but Cote is working from the bottom. Besti has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Cote! Besti is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Cote is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Cote flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Besti anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Cote and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Besti slips an arm under Cote chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Besti has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Besti is squeezing on Cote like an anaconda would it's prey. Cote fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:50 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Gatto Besti! Gatto Besti spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Riley looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Parks shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Riley napping and manages to drive through into side control! We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Parks scoring with punches and elbows. Riley is looking for a sweep. Riley is not content to let Parks control the position. Parks is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Riley will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Parks working away. Parks is looking to take a break and control but Riley is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Parks is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Riley is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Marella gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Cote counters with a left and a right that stings Marella. Marella shoots for a takedown but Cote saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Marella dips to his left and cracks Cote with an uppercut!

Sapp with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Sapp stops Hunt from standing up. Hunt keeping moving, preventing Sapp from controlling successfully. Sapp passes into half guard. Still in half guard, Sapp seems content to control. Sapp wants to pass to mount but Hunt is defending the position.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Bob Sapp wasn't doing enough on the ground. Sapp closes the distance and pushes Hunt back into the cage. Hunt wants a takedown but no success here.
Hunt has Sapp pressed against the cage, preventing Sapp from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Hunt has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Sapp is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Hunt lands a body punch. Hunt tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Sapp shoots in and bounces Hunt off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Hunt keeping full guard, as Sapp tries to pass. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Hunt keeping moving, preventing Sapp from controlling successfully. Sapp drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Sapp as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Hunt screams and taps out before any major damage is done! 14 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Greg Dixon! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Wesley Smith and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Taylor clinches up with Dixon and pushes him back against the cage. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Dixon. Dixon is looking to take this one to the mat. Taylor stops a takedown attempt from Dixon.

Taylor tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Dixon avoids it. Taylor's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Taylor tries to clinch but Dixon moves out of range. Dixon looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Taylor is fending him off so far but Dixon persists. Nope, Taylor circles away and we're back to standing. Tat Taylor has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Greg Dixon. Dixon misses with a body kick. We've been hearing reports that Taylor has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Dixon avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
