Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Hammer Face! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Abraham Rokou! The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Nard Betker and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rokou shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Face as he jumps to the side. The fight stays on the outside here - Face looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Rokou's coach down at Titan Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Rokou's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Face really is a fat lump. Face moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Rokou moves away from the strike by Face. Face seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Face is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Rokou shoots in and gets a takedown into Face's guard. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Face not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Rokou stops Face from standing up. Rokou really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Face. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Rokou trying to control the position from guard on top but Face is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Face is looking to cinch up a triangle. Rokou throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Face's body to avoid the submission. Face has instead reached around Rokou's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Face arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ib Voigle! The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Paulsen Ambrosius and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Yosuf misses with a takedown attempt and Voigle counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Voigle. Yosuf is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Voigle manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Voigle has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Voigle keeping moving, preventing Yosuf from controlling successfully. Voigle is pulling down on Yosuf's head to control his posture.
Ib Voigle has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Voigle drives through with a takedown into Yosuf's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Voigle sitting in guard, not really doing much. Voigle passes Yosuf's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Yosuf wants to improve his position but Voigle is controlling well.
Voigle with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Yosuf is looking to control Voigle's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Yosuf avoid being mounted?
That's two minutes gone in the round. Voigle is figuring out what he wants to do next. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Voigle wants to free his trapped foot but Yosuf is holding on for dear life with his legs. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Ib Voigle hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Yosuf tries to clinch and Voigle holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Voigle gets control of Yosuf's arms and successfully pulls guard. Voigle will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Yosuf drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Yosuf as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Voigle screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Yosuf! Nice submission victory there!

4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jonqw Fray! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Claudiu Sinescu! The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Albert Achterberg and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sinescu throws a combination that misses and Fray counters with a three punch combo that has Sinescu backing up. Sinescu nods at Fray to acknowledge the strikes. Fray takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Fray gets a takedown into half guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Sinescu tries to kick Fray off but Fray keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Sinescu has his hands clasped together around Fray's back. He's all about the action. Fray is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Fray moves into full mount! Sinescu won't be happy about that!
That's one minute gone in the round. You get the feeling that Sinescu really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Fray is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Sinescu is surviving well by controlling Fray's body position as best he can. BOOM! Fray connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Fray goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Sinescu turns into him and now he's in Fray's guard.
Sinescu pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Fray is keeping the position for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fray has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Sinescu can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Sinescu really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Fray. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Sinescu has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Fray is proving hard to escape from. This has been an exciting period of action! Sinescu avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Fray bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Sinescu's guard. Fray connects with a couple of short punches. Fray scoring with some ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fray wants to control from the top but Sinescu keeps moving. Fray in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Fray working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Fray lands a couple of decent looking shots. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Fray stands and throws Sinescu's legs to the side, diving into side control. Fray landing a few strikes. Fray trying to control the action but Sinescu is working from the bottom. Sinescu tries to bench press Fray off him but Fray keeps the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fray wants to control but Sinescu is keeping him busy. You can see the frustration on Sinescu's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Fray is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Sinescu has escaped the position, nice work there. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Sinescu wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! We've been hearing that Fray has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Fray looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jonqw Fray dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Fray darts in looking for a takedown but Sinescu gets double underhooks and turns Fray into the cage. Fray wants the takedown. Sinescu is fighting it off but Fray persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Sinescu's guard against the cage. Sinescu is working an open guard so Fray takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Sinescu looks to land a combination. Fray sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
It looks like Jonqw Fray has been cut. Fray changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Sinescu looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Fray goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Sinescu rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Fray's guard! Nice work there by Sinescu! Fray keeping moving, preventing Sinescu from controlling successfully. Fray might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Sinescu is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Fray is trying to keep Sinescu in close.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fray working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Sinescu doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Fray is tightening it up a little... Sinescu has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Sinescu reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Sinescu taps out! Nice BJJ there by Fray!
