Phillips throws a left and a right that both miss
and Brittle connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Brittle moves out of range of the strikes.
Phillips throws a looping overhand right but Brittle ducks down to avoid it.

Phillips shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Brittle sprawls well. Brittle wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Phillips gets slowly back to his feet.

Rudao looks to clinch
and Madden makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Madden fails to land with a series of punches.
Rudao ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Madden moves away.

Rudao moves into the clinch.
Madden pushes Rudao back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Rudao lands a left hand.
Madden swings wildly with an uppercut but Rudao uses good head movement to avoid it.
Rudao tries to throw a body punch but Madden avoids it by throwing Rudao back against the cage.
A head punch on the inside from Madden fails to land.
Madden holding his opponent close, against the cage.
Madden drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Rudao gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Madden misses with a hook from the clinch.
Rudao pushes Madden back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Madden makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Rudao gets through Madden's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Madden stalling in the clinch but Rudao improves position.
Madden goes for a takedown attempt but Rudao pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Rudao fails with an attempt to clinch.
Rudao moves to clinch but Madden breaks away

and Madden counters with a takedown into side control.
Rudao wants to get back to his feet.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Madden throws a strike aimed at the side of Rudao's head but Rudao avoids it well.
Madden working the strikes but Rudao uses the opportunity to regain half guard.
Madden looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Rudao with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Madden throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Madden trying to advance position but Rudao counters by regaining guard.
We've been hearing that Madden has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
Madden trying to control the position from guard on top but Rudao is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Madden's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Madden trying to move into half guard but instead Rudao has managed to sweep!
Madden looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Rudao puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Rudao tries to stand but can't do so whilst Madden controls his leg.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Madden trying to get back to full guard but Rudao takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount!
Madden tries to reverse the position but Rudao maintains control.
Rudao wants to stand but Madden is holding on to him, trying to stop him posturing up.
Madden is working to get back to half guard.
Madden tries to hold on but Rudao pushes him away.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Madden is trying to reverse the position but instead Rudao has taken his back - oops!

And that's the end of the fight!
Casey Madden showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Madden has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
