0 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tony Garrison! The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Paulsen Ambrosius and Paul Aken.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Simmons feints a jab promting Garrison to slip. Simmons then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Garrison slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Garrison looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Garrison slips a jab and a cross from Simmons.
Shaun Simmons seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Simmons lunges at Garrison with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Garrison's hand.
 Garrison is rocked! Simmons cracks Garrison's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! Garrison slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Simmons can do further damage! This one is done, son!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Shaun Simmons! Jumping up and down and very excited, Shaun Simmons waved his t-shirt featuring Rock 'n' Shock clothing's logo in front of the cameras.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Aubin has his takedown stuffed
and Kung counters with a shoot takedown. Aubin fights it but they end up in guard. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Aubin is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Kung defends well. Aubin could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Kung wanted to stand there but Aubin had control of the position. Kung must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ghost tries to move into range but Pedersen moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Ghost uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Pedersen.
Pedersen closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Ghost drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Pedersen gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Pedersen lands an elbow that stopped Ghost in his tracks for a moment. Ghost tries to pull guard but Pedersen forces him back to his feet, against the cage. A short left from Pedersen. Pedersen creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Ghost's defenses. Ghost fails to pull the fight into his guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Graveyard Ghost. That's going to take a lot out of him. Pedersen is defending well against a takedown attempt. Pedersen makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Pedersen lands with a left to the head. Ghost blocks a body shot from Pedersen. Pedersen lands a left hand that snaps the head of Ghost backwards. A nice glancing elbow lands by Pedersen. Pedersen lands a hook to the side of the head. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Static throws a wild body kick that Chu sees coming a mile off. Static goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Static pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.  It looks like Jethro Static has been cut. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Static. Static checks a leg kick. Chu misses with a two punch combination.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pig wants to slow Sir down by chopping away at his legs. Pig circles away from the clinch attempt.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Sir has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

and Pig decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Sir's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sir had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Pig defends it easily. Sir keeping moving, preventing Pig from controlling successfully. Pig lands a couple of decent looking shots. Pig postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Sir is trying to control the position from the bottom.
