The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kiniski shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in voitsek's guard. Kiniski wants to pass the guard but voitsek is keeping the position. voitsek is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Kiniski stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. voitsek swivels though and keeps the full guard. Kiniski forces his way into half guard. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Kiniski lands a nice short elbow. voitsek is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Kiniski is keen to just control but voitsek is a slippery customer. Kiniski wants to work for an arm triangle but voitsek is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Kiniski is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because voitsek is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Kiniski doesn't succeed with the takedown letting voitsek counter with a right hand. Kiniski misses with a takedown attempt and voitsek counters with a shoot takedown. Kiniski fights it but they end up in guard. voitsek stopping the sweep attempt from Kiniski.

Now he's in top in voitsek's guard.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if voitsek can do anything to dispel that myth. voitsek can't keep his opponent in guard - Kiniski advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. voitsek is in trouble now - Kiniski has advanced to mount! A nice elbow there by Kiniski. Kiniski postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. voitsek looks a forlorn figure.

That was a close second round but I would say that Gene Kiniski will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Kiniski tries to improve position but can't. Kiniski manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Kiniski not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Gene Kiniski. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Kiniski, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. It looks like Eye Wrestle has been cut. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Wrestle is looking to escape. Wrestle is still in real trouble! Can Kali finish him? Kali tries to stand but can't do so whilst Wrestle controls his leg. Wrestle seems to have recovered his senses. Wrestle flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Kali stands up and beckons Wrestle to join him on the feet. Kali jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Kali lands a brutal uppercut that launches Wrestle off his feet! Wrestle tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!

He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Del Soto's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Steele. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Alberto ducks under a wild hook from Flave. Flave misses with a straight right. Flave jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Flave thows a body shot but no joy. Alberto takes a jab right on the kisser.

Flave throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Alberto stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Flave misses with a wild combination.

Flave takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Flave smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. A lazy left from Flave finds it's target. Nice uppercut there from Flave. Flave misses with a straight left. Flave misses with a looping left. Alberto fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
