Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Patrick Givens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Shono (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Givens comes to the cage accompanied by 12 Stones-Psycho. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Givens swats away the attempt to clinch by Shono.
Givens looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Shono lands a high kick!

It looks like Patrick Givens has been cut.
Givens avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Shono lands a big head kick that sends Givens tumbling to the mat! Shono takes a step backwards and waves Givens back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Jones closes this distance looking for a takedown but Rua circles away.

Rua fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Jones, pushing him back against the cage.
Rua is trying to pull guard but Jones has him pressed against the cage.
Jones throws an elbow but it's blocked.

Jones turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Jones manages to end up in side control.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Rua is trying to control Jones's posture but Jones avoids it.
Jones lands a decent elbow from side control.
Rua is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at SWF GYM - JUDO 'n' MMA that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.

Chulainn feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Charlies jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Charlie in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.
Charlie looks to land a left hand but Chulainn moved out of range nicely.

That was a close second round but I would say that Cu Chulainn will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Dusk comes to the cage accompanied by AC/DC - Thunderstruck. Punch comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Coming Down kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Death Punch struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 187.3lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Death Punch will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.
