The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Blondi shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Blondi wants to stand but Northrend has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.

Blondi is working for a submission of some sort.
Blondi takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bresnar closes the distance and clinches up with Turk, looking for a takedown. Bresnar pushes Turk against the cage but Turk circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Turk shoots in and drives through. Bresnar sprawls well.
Bresnar misses with a jab, cross combination.

Bresnar cracks Turk with a right hand to the side of the head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Turk feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

With a record of 17 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jon Stone!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Marco Blurström and Tarja Halkonen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Stone moves into the clinch successfully.
Stone has a couple of punches blocked by Randy.
Stone doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Randy is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Stone is keeping busy.
Stone misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Nice body punch from Stone.
Stone misses with a short punch on the inside.
Stone looking to throw knees to the head but Randy is blocking nicely.
Stone lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Still in the clinch, Stone scores with a nice short uppercut.
Randy is trying to pull guard but Stone turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Randy jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Stone walks away with a smile on his face. Randy gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Demolition Man Randy. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Stone is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Stone has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Randy shoots in looking for a takedown. Stone tries to sprawl out of it but Randy keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Stone manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Stone falls off balance throwing a combination
and Randy counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

and Randy counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Stone!

Randy is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Stone is trying to escape and Randy transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Stone is forced to tap! Nice work there by Randy! Very nice indeed!

Frettish moves forwards but Isaacs connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Isaacs takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Isaacs dives in for a single leg takedown but Frettish sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Isaacs drops down looking for an ankle pick but Frettish pulls his leg out and moves away.
Isaacs throws a hook but Frettish blocks it.

and Frettish connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Isaacs is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Frettish's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Isaacs throws a series of punches but Frettish avoids them all with ease.

enabling Frettish to counter with a crisp jab.
Ed Frettish is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Isaacs presses Frettish against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Isaacs stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Come on Isaacs - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

A very excited looking Ronald Isaacs rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
