The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kaukalo punishes Savage's body with a nice straight punch. Nice body punch from Kaukalo. Kaukalo throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Kaukalo lands a nice looking body shot.
Savage misses with a body kick. Savage throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Kaukalo sees it coming and avoids it easily. Kaukalo fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Savage looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Oooooh!!! Kaukalo has knocked Savage down with a huge combo! Kaukalo steps away and waves a wobbly Savage back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
It looks like Johnny Savage has been cut. Kaukalo has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Kaukalo lands an uppercut, right on the button! Savage tumbles backwards into the ropes, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Tolle misses with a wild body shot. Tolle gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Stiglitz pulls guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Tolle trying to control but Stiglitz is working from the bottom. Stiglitz avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Stiglitz preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Tolle stopping the sweep attempt from Stiglitz. Stiglitz working for a triangle but Tolle defends it easily.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mellia tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Tsukasa manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Mellia feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Tsukasas jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! A big left from Mellia misses. Mellia lands with a cross. Mellia displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Tsukasa throws out the jab. Tsukasa scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Mellia gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Tsukasa. Tsukasa takes a body punch but keeps moving. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Mellia throws a hook but Tsukasa blocks it. A clash of legs there as Mellia blocks the low kick. A slow jab from Mellia misses its intended target. Mellia wants to clinch. Mellia keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Tsukasa uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Mellia. Tsukasa swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Tsukasa scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Mellia lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tsukasa throws a leg kick but Mellia sees it coming and checks it nicely. Tsukasa keeps the fight on the outside. Mellia scores with a jab to the head.

Urskilz tried to score with a low kick but Hopkins checks it. Hopkins throws a hook to the side of Urskilz's head but Urskilz sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Urskilz takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Urskilz cracks a nice hook into Hopkins's ribs. Urskilz cracks the inside of Hopkins's front leg. Urskilz swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Hopkins moves away from the strike by Urskilz. Urskilz throws a sloppy head kick and Hopkins moves out of range easily. Hopkins gets tackled into the ropes by Urskilz. Urskilz maintains the clinch. A right handed body shot lands from Hopkins.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Musasio closes the distance and clinches up with Fittz, looking for a takedown. Musasio pushes Fittz against the ropes but Fittz circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Musasio misses with a wild combination.
Fittz stuffs the takedown. Fittz tries to bum rush Musasio with a series of wild strikes but Musasio uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Musasio doesn't succeed with the takedown and Fittz counters with a two punch combo. Markus Fittz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gegardio Musasio. Musasio misses with a series of wild punches.
Fittz lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Musasio shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Fittz defends it nicely. Musasio doesn't succeed with the takedown and Fittz counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Oh, that's a big right hand from Fittz and Musasio goes tumbling to the canvas! Fittz follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.
Musasio is rocked! We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Musasio is in trouble now - Fittz has advanced to mount! Musasio is still in real trouble! Can Fittz finish him? Fittz controlling the pace for now. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Musasio is trying desperately to improve position. Fittz content just to control the position here.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Markus Fittz. Fittz throws an overhand right that has Musasio reeling! Fittz follows up with more punches and Musasio is out cold! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Johnson fails with an attempt to clinch.
Johnson fails in his attempt to clinch. Johnson throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Pigeon tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Johnson is in Pigeon's guard. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Johnson is looking to work some ground and pound but Pigeon has wrist control. Johnson might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Pigeon trying to control the position.
Johnson definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Johnson slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Pigeon manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Johnson tries to get to full guard but Pigeon has control of the leg. Pigeon thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Johnson's head. Pigeon wants to take a breather but Johnson is having none of it. Pigeon throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Johnson is defending against the submission attempts here by Pigeon.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pigeon is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Johnson doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Pigeon. Johnson manages to get to full guard.

Pigeon stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Johnson swivels though and keeps the full guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Johnson wants to stand but Pigeon is controlling the position. Pigeon passes into half guard. Pigeon thows a huge punch but Johnson dodges it nicely.

Pigeon wants to lay and pray for a moment but Johnson keeps working. Ground and pound from Pigeon. Pigeon tries to pass the half guard into mount. Johnson knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Johnson moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Johnson keeping moving, preventing Pigeon from controlling successfully. Pigeon throws a big elbow that misses.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Johnson is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Pigeon postures up in Johnson's guard and throws a big left but Johnson blocks it. Pigeon keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Johnson's head. Pigeon pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Johnson is keeping the position for now. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Johnson throwing strikes off his back to little effect.

The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Pigeon is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Pigeon trying to control but Johnson is working from the bottom. Johnson working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Pigeon. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Harry Pigeon will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Johnson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Pigeon gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Pigeon is working Johnson over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Johnson wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Pigeon won't allow Johnson to sweep him here. That's three minutes gone in the round. Batistuta regains half guard. Batistuta looking for subs from the bottom but Allen mounts him! Batistuta is squirming around, avoiding Allen's attempts to control the action. Allen dominating with strikes here. Batistuta is desperately trying to improve his position but Allen has a good base and remains in mount. Batistuta is still trying to improve position. Allen controlling from the full mount. Allen is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Batistuta can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Batistuta is looking to get to half guard. Allen pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Batistuta gets back to half guard. Batistuta is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Allen stalling. Allen has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
