The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Echoes drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Echoes thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

ss wants to get back to his feet but Echoes is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
ss is trying to control the position but Echoes postures up.

Pacquiao with a lazy takedown attempt
and Paul counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

It looks like Manny Pacquiao has been cut.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Pacquiao.
Pacquiao changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Paul tries to avoid it but Pacquiao manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Paul to the ground. Paul escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Manny Pacquiao. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Pacquiao fails with a takedown attempt.
Paul scores with a jab. Pacquiao acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Paul fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Pacquiao to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Pacquiao looks to clinch but Paul throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Pacquiao taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
