Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marcel Moore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tai Wynne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

0 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tai Wynne! The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Dillan Fox and Robert Douchet.

Moore tries to avoid it but Wynne manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Moore to the ground. Moore escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Moore fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Wynne to the ground. Moore is now in Wynne's guard. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Moore wants to pass the guard but Wynne is keeping the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Moore slips nicely into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Moore sitting and controlling from the half guard. Wynne pushes Moore off looking to stand but Moore dives back in and keeps control.
Moore content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.

Moore drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Moore seems to have locked his on tight now - Wynne screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Moore, as he picks up the win!

Lloyd is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Meniac by Michael Sembello. Mike Lloyd told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mike Lloyd! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Trevor Gratis and Elvis Blanc.

Balls misses with a takedown attempt - Lloyd sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Lloyd scores with the left hand. Balls knows he should have avoided that one. Balls shoots in but Lloyd avoids the takedown attempt easily. Lloyd throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Lloyd cracks Balls with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Lloyd connects with a nice looking jab.
Lloyd pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Mike Lloyd seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Balls with a poor takedown and Lloyd makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bubba Balls. That's going to take a lot out of him. Lloyd lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Lloyd feints and then cracks Balls's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Balls down. Lloyd misses with a wild body shot. Lloyd with a body punch. A glancing blow.

Mike Lloyd is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. A looping hook to the body misses from Lloyd. Balls does a little dance to reset his feet. Lloyd scores with a leg kick.
Lloyd lunges at Balls with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Balls's hand. Balls shoots in but Lloyd avoids the takedown attempt easily.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Lloyd scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Balls dives in and grabs Lloyd's left leg, looking for a takedown. Lloyd pushes down on Balls's head and hops out. Lloyd misses with a wild body shot.

Balls uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Lloyd. Lloyd lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Lloyd with a body punch. A glancing blow. Balls blocks a jab. Lloyd lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Balls takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Lloyd bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Balls's head.

Nice shot lands for Lloyd. Balls uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Lloyd. Lloyd missing with a left hand there. Balls was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. A punch combination from Lloyd misses. Lloyd is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Balls had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté. Sloppy strikes from Lloyd. Those never looked like landing. Lloyd looks to land a right hand but Balls moved out of range. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Lloyd looks to land a combination but Balls avoids it well. This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Balls. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery. Lloyd rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Balls moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Lloyd lands an overhand right. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mike Lloyd dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Lloyd thows a body shot but no joy. Balls takes a shot right to the bread basket. Lloyd looks to score with a jab to the body but Balls is just out of range. The fighters circling - Lloyd throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Balls takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Lloyd's jab looks to have found its range, popping Balls under the eye. Lloyd throws a big shot that misses. Balls slips a jab from Lloyd. No joy there for Lloyd, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Lloyd cracks Balls with a good jab. Lloyd connects with a nice looking jab.
Lloyd misses the shot to the body. Bubba Balls is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Balls shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Lloyd sprawls well. Lloyd wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Balls gets slowly back to his feet. Lloyd has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Nice body punch from Lloyd. Lloyd wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

A left and a right from Lloyd both land. Nice combination. This has been an exciting period of action! Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Lloyd.
Lloyd stuffs the takedown attempt from Balls. Balls gets slowly back to his feet. Balls shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bubba Balls. That's going to take a lot out of him. Lloyd lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Lloyd connects with a body shot that sends Balls's belly button to the back. Lloyd leaves Balls with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Lloyd bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Balls's head.

Lloyd looks to land a combination but Balls avoids it well. Balls is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Lloyd. Balls doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Lloyd dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Lloyd works Balls's body with a nice hook.

Balls throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lloyd's waist but Lloyd gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Balls off to one side. Lloyd misses with a wild combination.

Mike Lloyd seems to be getting the better of the standup. Lloyd uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Balls has time to react. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! A punch lands to the side of Balls 's head but he takes it in his stride. Lloyd rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Balls moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Lloyd digs a good body shot into Balls's ribs. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mike Lloyd showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Lloyd rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Balls moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Lloyd missing with a left hand there. Balls was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Lloyd stuns Balls with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Lloyd lands with a straight right. Balls didn't see that one coming. Balls takes one to the side of the head.
Lloyd scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. No joy there for Lloyd, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Lloyd throws out a powerful jab. A jab from Lloyd does it's job there.

Balls takes one on the button. Lloyd misses with a double jab.

Balls shoots in looking for a takedown but Lloyd manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Balls's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. A swing and a miss from Lloyd. Lloyd misses the shot to the body. Lloyd tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Balls moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Balls shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Lloyd defends it nicely. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bubba Balls. That's going to take a lot out of him. Lloyd ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Lloyd lands with a hook. Balls tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Mike Lloyd is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. A looping hook to the body misses from Lloyd. Balls does a little dance to reset his feet. Lloyd connects with a right hand. Balls shakes it off. Lloyd misses with a hook. Balls misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Lloyd tries to bum rush Balls with a series of wild strikes but Balls uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Balls looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.

Balls looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Lloyd misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Lloyd will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
This has been an exciting period of action! Lloyd works over Balls's head and body with a nice combination.
And that's the end of the fight! Mike Lloyd comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Lloyd has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Desperado darts in and clinches Miller up against the cage. Miller throws a head punch that misses. With the fighters up against the cage, Miller throws an elbow but misses. Miller misses with a punch on the inside.
Desperado has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Miller clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Desperado cracks Miller with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Miller from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.
Desperado doesn't have the hooks in and Miller manages to turn into his guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Desperado has a closed guard, preventing Miller from standing up. Desperado tries to land a sweep but no joy. Miller wants to get up but he can't break Desperado's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Desperado closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Desperado looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Miller avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Desperado. Desperado drops an elbow to the side of Miller's head. Desperado missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Miller is staying active underneath Desperado, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Desperado stands up from half guard. Miller has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Pitbull MMA in the buildup to the fight. Miller looking to land some kicks to the body here.
A head kick by Miller misses and Desperado counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Bobby Miller is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Desperado showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Miller.
Desperado shoots for a takedown but Miller saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Desperado has Miller pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Desperado pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Miller tumbling to the mat - Desperado dives into Miller's guard.
Desperado thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Desperado distracts Miller with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Desperado postures up.
Desperado landing with the ground and pound.
Desperado stands and steps away. Miller gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Desperado tries to close the distance and clinch up but Miller swats him away and circles back towards the center. Miller will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Desperado bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Desperado looking to control but Miller is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Miller is bucking up trying to escape but Desperado cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Miller knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Desperado on the ground. The referee warns Miller that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Desperado cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Miller is looking to improve his position but Desperado isn't that keen on the idea. You get the feeling that Miller really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Miller is breathing heavily. Miller wants to hold on but Desperado pushes him away.
Desperado has hold of an arm here, looking to extend it. He's committed to the armbar attempt here! Will he get it?! Yes! Miller is forced to tap!

Heed manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Anderson on his heels. He'll look to pass Anderson's guard now, I'm sure. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Heed is looking to work some ground and pound but Anderson has wrist control. Heed missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Anderson working a defensive guard here.
Heed really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Anderson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Potter stumbles back but Alexander runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Potter to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Potter will ever be the same after a knockout like that.

Gracie has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Gracie is squeezing on Palluza like an anaconda would it's prey. Palluza fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

Poirier bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Mckay's head backwards.
Mckay drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Mckay landing some decent shots from guard. Mckay not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Mckay has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Poirier wants to get back to his feet but Mckay is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Poirier on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Poirier tries to get out of the position. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Mckay trying to control the position from guard on top but Poirier is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Mckay might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Poirier haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Mckay is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

A frustrated look appears on Poirier's face as he tries to break the clinch. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Mckay has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Mckay is looking to control Poirier's arms but Poirier gets an underhook and turns him. Now Mckay has his back to the cage. The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Our sources have told us that Poirier has been working on his elbows in the gym. Poirier tries to break the clinch but Mckay is controlling the position. Mckay lands a hook that snaps the head of Poirier backwards. Mckay is stalling here.
The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Krystof Mckay. Poirier throws a nice looking combination but Mckay bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Poirier throws a lazy right hand but Mckay sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Poirier rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Mckay counters with a big slam followed by a series of strikes - this one is all over!
