Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mini Ask! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, David Scott! The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Saam Ante and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Scott darts in and clinches Ask up against the ropes. Our sources have told us that Ask has been working on his elbows in the gym. Scott is trying to drag Ask to the mat but Ask just about manages to keep his footing. He used the ropes to his advantage there. Scott breaks the clinch.
Ask misses with a head kick.
Ask lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Ask shoots in and gets a takedown into Scott's guard. Scott has Ask pulled in close to control his posture. Scott throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Ask knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Scott on the ground. Ask wants to stand and escape but instead Scott has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Ask being controlled here, momentarily.
That's one minute gone in the round. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
The ref stands the fighters back up. David Scott was stalling too much, according to the referee. Scott circles away from the clinch attempt and Scott counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Scott is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Scott manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Ask looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ask tries to break the clinch but Scott is controlling the position. Scott lands on the inside with an uppercut. Scott jumps guard but Ask stands there with Scott around his waist. Scott gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Ask is trying to break the clinch but Scott has him pressed against the ropes. Ask is trying to force a seperation but Scott has the dominant position. Scott tries to pull guard but Ask holds him up against the ropes and eventually Scott drops back down to his feet.
Mini Ask has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of David Scott. Scott breaks the clinch.
Ask wants to clinch. Scott misses with a low kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ask scores with a three punch combo!
Scott has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Scott there as he acknowledges the shot. Sloppy strikes from Ask. Those never looked like landing. Scott avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Ask moves out of range as Scott throws a body kick.
Scott tries to land a front kick but Ask steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Scott shoots in and drives through. Ask sprawls well. Scott shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Ask pinned against the ropes. Ask gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Ask tries to clinch but Scott moves away and Scott counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Scott is looking for a kimura here.
Scott wants to pass the guard but Ask is defending well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ask tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Scott manages to move to mount!
Scott fails to move to back control. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Scott manages to capitalize on a mistake by Ask to take his back! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
David Scott dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Ask wants to clinch. Donk. Ask catches Scott right on the button with a cross. Scott tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Ask swivels and escapes. Ask looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Ask with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Mini Ask seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ask throws a series of punches but Scott moves out of range. Ask looks to land a combination. Scott sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Scott is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Ask.
Scott is rocked! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. A head kick misses from Ask. Scott is still on wobbly legs! Can Ask finish him? Scott circles away from the clinch attempt.
Scott changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ask tries to avoid it but Scott manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ask to the ground. Ask escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Ask tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Scott seems to have recovered his senses. Mini Ask is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Ask fails with an attempt to clinch.
Scott is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Ask. Ask moves in looking to clinch but Scott pushes him off.
That's one minute gone in the round. Scott has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Ask rushes Scott and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch. Scott lands with a left to the head. Scott breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Ask connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Scott tumbling to the canvas! Ask pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Scott was done - good stoppage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Huxi shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Hendandez manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Huxi has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Hendandez is proving hard to escape from. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Hendandez manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Huxi might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Huxi really wants to buck Hendandez off and get back to his feet. A nice elbow there by Hendandez. Hendandez looking to control but Huxi is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Huxi wants to hold on but Hendandez pushes him away. Hendandez throws some wild stikes that Huxi manages to avoid easily.

Huxi tries to lock up and control but Hendandez gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Huxi holds on, trying desperately to control. Huxi working to try and regain half guard.

Hendandez trying to control but Huxi is having none of it. Hendandez swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Huxi is now in Hendandez's guard. A big mistake from Hendandez there, giving up the dominant position!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hendandez is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Huxi postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
It looks like Guda F Hendandez has been cut. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Huxi stands up from guard. Let's bang! Huxi seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Huxi shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Hendandez's guard.
Hendandez is rocked!
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Huxi gets to his feet. Hendandez looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Hendandez is still on wobbly legs! Can Huxi finish him? I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Huxi has cracked Hendandez with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Huxi lands another huge swinging hook and Hendandez tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Hendandez, before Huxi can land any more shots!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ask misses with a wild body shot. Ask instigates a clinch. Ry has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Ask avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Ask is struggling to control the position. Ask pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Ask moves into the clinch successfully.
Ask's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Ask darts in and clinches Ry up against the ropes. Ry tries to score a body lock takedown but Ask shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Ask breaks from the clinch.

Ry's coach down at Titan Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Ry's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Ry gets a double leg takedown into Ask's guard. Ask tries to land a sweep but no joy. Ry stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ask swivels though and keeps the full guard. Ask controlling Ry's posture.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Ry trying to control but Ask is working from the bottom.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Ask ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Ry moves away. Ask seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Ry fails with a takedown attempt. Ask misses with a head kick.
Ry gets tackled into the ropes by Ask. Ask maintains the clinch. Ry has picked Ask up - he's going for a ride! Ry dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Ask has his hands clasped together around Ry's back. He's all about the action. Ry not landing any meaningful shots this time.

Ask keeping moving, preventing Ry from controlling successfully. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Ry being controlled here momentarily. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Ask is on top in guard.

They are putting on a show! Ry breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Ry shoots for a double leg takedown but Ask sprawls well. He's pushed Ry's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Ask drives through and clinches with Ry against the ropes.

Ask tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Rain Ask is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. This has been an exciting period of action! Ask avoids the head kick by Ry.

Ask breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Ry shoots in looking for a takedown. Ask tries to sprawl out of it but Ry keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Ask manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Ry tries to close the distance and clinch but Ask swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Ry shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Ask sprawls well. Ask wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Ry gets slowly back to his feet. Ry takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Ask has taken the fight to the clinch.
Rain Ask is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Ask taking a breather. Ry's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

And that's the end of the fight! Rain Ask showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Ask, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
