The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sewell has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Ellis really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Ferreira trying to control the position from guard on top but Daley is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Ferreira is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Ferreira wants to control from the top but Daley keeps moving. Daley wriggles free and stands up. Daley shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Ferreira but Ferreira pushes him off and we're back to square one. Ferreira lands with a slapping head kick.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Excellent takedown into side control there by Ferreira. Daley is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Ferreira asserts his dominance and retains side control. Ferreira works to advance to full mount.
