Mendez kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is La Puerta Negra. Scott has chosen White Rabbit as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Scott drops his hands momentarily and Mendez takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Scott is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
The crowd cheers as Mendez lands an impressive looking overhand right. Scott doesn't seem phased though.

Scott get stunned by a cross and takes another one on the button. Scott stumbles backwards and tries to bounce back off the cage but Mendez runs in and jumps on him with a leaping lead hook that puts him out! Wow, that was highlight reel stuff! Awesome finish!
