The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bud takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Jordan fails with an attempt to clinch.
Jordan lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Bud at a distance.
Jordan fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Jordan cracks a nice hook into Bud's ribs.
Bud throws a sloppy head kick
and Jordan counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Bud throws a head kick that misses.
Bud has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Jordan finds it's way round the side to connect with Bud's head.
Jordan dips to his left and cracks Bud with an uppercut!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bud drops his hands momentarily and Jordan takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Jordan moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Jordan lands with a kick to the ribs.

Bud throws a sloppy head kick
and Jordan counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Jordan lands a nice shot that snaps Bud's head back.

Bud misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A good leg kick by Jordan.

Bud shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Jordan is trying to defend but Bud finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Bud should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Bud is working to tighten his grip on Jordan's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Jordan has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Bud is really squeezing tight and eventually Jordan passes out! Bud breaks the hold and jumps onto the ropes to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Sakurai escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Byambasuren gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Fuchigami bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Kystovsky's head.

Fuchigami closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Kystovsky's guard.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Fuchigami working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

Hayashi changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Sanada tries to avoid it but Hayashi manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Sanada to the ground. Sanada escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
