Anthony shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Burns sprawls well. Burns wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Anthony gets slowly back to his feet.

Cardinale feints a jab promting Conway to slip. Cardinale then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Conway slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Cardinale throws a series of punches but Conway moves out of range.
Both fighters circling a little - Cardinale finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

Conway displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Cardinale throws out the jab.

Cardinale shoots for a double leg takedown but Conway sprawls well. He's pushed Cardinale's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Tam Conway is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Cardinale lets loose with a powerful body kick. Conway will feel that in the morning.
Conway misses with a jab, cross combination.
Conway dodges the punch combination from Cardinale.
Cardinale pushes Conway away with a front kick.
Cardinale lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Forclit felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Both of our modern day gladiators look out of it here - a gruelling 5 rounds of action taking it's toll on them, no doubt.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Solofa Fatu.
I think Forclit has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
