The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Han misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Riley stuffs the takedown. Riley throws a shot to the body.

Teeto throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Teeto has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight.

Malkov uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Teeto. Teeto tries to close the distance and clinch but Malkov swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Malkov tried to score with a low kick but Teeto checks it. A solid leg kick lands there for Malkov.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Buxton throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Smithson tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Buxton is in Smithson's guard. Smithson not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

That's going to take a lot out of him. Nales shoots for a takedown but Tomato saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Cus Tomato seems to be getting the better of the standup. Tomato throws a leg kick but Nales sees it coming and checks it nicely. Tomato scores with a nice right hand.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Nales wants to clinch. Nales tries to close the distance and clinch but Tomato swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Cus Tomato is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Nales chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Tomato can pounce on him.
Nales closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Tomato breaks from the clinch.

Nales tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Tomato just stands there and leans against the cage. Tomato trying to land knees to the body.
Nales looking to throw knees to the head but Tomato is blocking nicely.
Nales gets control of Tomato's arms and successfully pulls guard. Nales will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Nales is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Nales keeping moving, preventing Tomato from controlling successfully. Tomato must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Tomato's corner is telling him to maintain position. Cus Tomato has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Tomato wants to control from the top but Nales keeps moving. This has been an exciting period of action!
The ref stands the fighters back up. Cus Tomato was stalling too much, according to the referee. Nales fails with the takedown. Tomato fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Nales has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Nales moves out of range as Tomato strikes. Nales throws a series of punches but Tomato moves out of range. Nales avoids the body shot from Tomato.
And that's the end of the fight! Cus Tomato comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Nales has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gailitis looks to land a right hand but Bova moved out of range. Gailitis on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Gailitis closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Bova gets back to half guard. Bova is looking for a sweep. Gailitis is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Gailitis landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Gailitis working over Bova with some ground and pound. Bova looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Gailitis keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. This has been an exciting period of action! Bova is trying to maintain the position but Gailitis is very close to passing his half guard. Gailitis seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Bova does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Bova has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Bova is looking for a sweep. Gailitis is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Gailitis lands a nice short elbow.
