The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Oliver misses with a takedown and Abbiati counters with a left to the body. Abbiati throws a right and a left that Oliver avoids nicely. Oliver closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Abbiati is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Oliver looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

We've been hearing good reports from Abbiati's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fine throws a hook but Suez avoids it easily. Fine cracks Suez with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. The fight moves into the clinch position. Fine tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Suez's elbow. Suez tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A jab from Nowacki does it's job there. Steel bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Nowacki's head backwards. Nowacki slips a straight right by Steel. Steel throws a poor cross that misses
and Nowacki counters with an inside leg kick. Nowacki throws a low kick but Steel moves out of range easily. Steel lands a lovely overhand right. Nowacki feints and then cracks Steel's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Steel down. Nowacki slips under a jab from Steel. Nowacki pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Steel misses with a few strikes there.
Nowacki steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Steel. Nowacki connects with the punch. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Steel jabbing away but nothing is landing. Nowacki feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Steel's calf. Nowacki lands a head kick!
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Steel, as that shot connected.

Steel takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. Alex Steel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nowacki throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Steel stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Steel with a hook. Steel scores with a hook. Nowacki lands with a right hand. Steel misses with a hook. Nowacki ducked under it nicely. Nowacki scoring well with a low kick there.
Nowacki cracks Steel with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Nowacki's jab looks to have found its range, popping Steel under the eye. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Steel will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Steel loads up on a big right hand but Nowacki slips the punch. Steel sizes up Nowacki with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Steel misses with an uppercut. Nowacki saw that one coming. Nowacki ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Nowacki is rocked! Steel throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Nowacki is still on wobbly legs! Can Steel finish him? A slow jab from Steel misses its intended target. Nowacki seems to have recovered his senses. Steel lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Steel. Steel misses with a left hand and Nowacki counters with an outside leg kick.

Nowacki connects with a right hand. Steel shakes it off. Steel looks to land a combination but Nowacki avoids it well. Steel takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Steel is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Nowacki ducks under a wild hook from Steel. Steel takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A head punch blocked on the inside by Nowacki. Steel scores with an uppercut up the middle. Steel throws a punch but it's blocked by Nowacki. Nowacki's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! With the two fighters working up against the cage, Nowacki just misses with a elbow thrown towards Steel's brow. Nowacki misses with a knee strike.
Nowacki lands a shoulder strike. Nowacki lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Steel backwards. Nowacki lands a left hand.
Nowacki lands with a short shot to the head. Nowacki tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Steel avoids it. Nowacki lands an uppercut. Steel tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Nowacki lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Steel backwards. Nowacki throws a punch but it's blocked by Steel. A head punch on the inside from Steel fails to land. Steel's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Nowacki presses Steel against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Herkules Nowacki dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Kingchanklao felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. Tracey misses with the ground and pound. Kingchanklao wants to control but Tracey postures up. Kingchanklao is not content to let Tracey control the position. Tracey goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Kingchanklao has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Tracey but great work by Kingchanklao.

Tracey tries to buck Kingchanklao off but Kingchanklao is having none of it. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Kingchanklao wants to stand but Tracey has his arm trapped. Tracey can't do much from the bottom here. Rob Tracey overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. That was a close second round but I would say that Rob Tracey will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

Nice uppercut there from Tracey. Kingchanklao misses with a leg kick and Tracey counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Tracey slips nicely into half guard. Tracey is looking to pass Kingchanklao's guard but actually Kingchanklao recovers to full guard. Tracey is looking to work some ground and pound but Kingchanklao has wrist control.

Butcher is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Anabolinen Steroidi Jr decided to call for a title shot in his post fight interview, which was very strange given the fact this fight was for a title and he's already the champion. I guess that's what getting punched in the head does for you.
