The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sapp throws an overhand right that lands on Lynott's shoulder, as Lynott tries to avoid the shot. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Lynott tries to close the distance and clinch up but Sapp swats him away and circles back towards the center. Lynott dips to his left and cracks Sapp with an uppercut! Sapp throws the left hand but Lynott avoids the punch easily. Lynott tries to clinch up. Lynott wants to clinch but Sapp slips to the side letting Sapp counter with a right hand.
It looks like Phil Lynott has been cut. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Lynott closes the distance looking to clinch and Sapp counters with a stiff jab, followed by a cross and an uppercut! That's too much punishment for Lynott to take - he tumbles to the canvas, blood pouring from his nose, barely conscious. That's the end of the fight! Great knockout by Sapp!

Kveldulfsson has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Dimitrovich is landing a low percentage of strikes.
