0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Kenalemodisa Mabogo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
15 - 23 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, David Trezeguet! The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Viktor Lagutenko and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mabogo throws a head kick but Trezeguet moves out of range.
Mabogo with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Trezeguet stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Mabogo. Mabogo moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Trezeguet throws a leg kick and Mabogo counters with a leg kick. Trezeguet misses with a combination
and Mabogo counters with a thumping low kick. Trezeguet looks winded! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Mabogo misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Trezeguet on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Mabogo. Mabogo obviously looking to wear him down.

That's one minute gone in the round. Mabogo fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Trezeguet. Mabogo throws a leg kick which misses Trezeguet's front leg but catches the back leg as Trezeguet tries to avoid it. Mabogo fakes the leg kick and cracks Trezeguet in the body. Mabogo thumps Trezeguet with a low kick. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! A low kick from Trezeguet misses and Mabogo counters with a massive head kick! KABOOM! Trezeguet is out cold! A devastating KO!

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Roman Kidler! The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Illya Tyunina and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kidler tries a head kick but it misses.
Kidler is trying hard to land a takedown here. Bidienko sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Bidienko shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Kidler is refusing to be controlled, as Bidienko sits in half guard. We've been hearing that Bidienko has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish. Bidienko is pressing down on Kidler's thigh, looking to free his foot. Kidler is holding on for now. Kidler is trying to maintain the position but Bidienko is very close to passing his half guard. Kidler is not content to let Bidienko control the position.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Rustam Bidienko wasn't doing enough on the ground. Bidienko misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Kidler has his takedown stuffed and Bidienko counters with a shoot takedown. Kidler fights it but they end up in guard. Kidler has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Kidler pushes Bidienko off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Kidler tries to clinch but fails miserably and Bidienko counters by moving into the clinch. Kidler is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Bidienko is defending well. Rustam Bidienko has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Roman Kidler. Kidler tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Bidienko smiles and moves away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bidienko tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kidler was well out of range. Poor timing from Bidienko. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Kidler fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Bidienko doesn't succeed with the takedown and Kidler counters with a lovely shot to the body. Kidler tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Bidienko defends well and Kidler ends up having to push Bidienko into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Kidler looks winded! Kidler wants to stall.
Bidienko could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Kidler doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Kidler jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Bidienko walks away with a smile on his face. Kidler gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Bidienko wants to clinch up but Kidler keeps it at a distance.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kidler throws a sloppy head kick and Bidienko moves out of range easily. Nice takedown defense from Kidler. No joy for Bidienko on that attempt. Bidienko fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Bidienko throws a nice looking combination but Kidler bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Bidienko fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Kidler avoids it really well and circles away. Kidler keeps the fight on the outside. Kidler shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Bidienko pinned against the cage. Bidienko gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Kidler misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bidienko shoots in for a takedown but Kidler shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Bidienko tries to clinch up but Kidler circles away and keeps his distance. Bidienko moves out of range as Kidler throws a body kick.
Kidler shoots in but Bidienko avoids the takedown attempt easily. Kidler shoots in looking for a takedown. Bidienko tries to sprawl out of it but Kidler keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bidienko manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Bidienko falls off balance throwing a combination
and Kidler counters with a lovely straight right hand! Bidienko keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rustam Bidienko dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Bidienko shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Kidler as he avoids it easily. Kidler closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Kidler is defending well against a takedown attempt. Kidler tries for a takedown. No joy.
Bidienko keeps control of Kidler as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Bidienko pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Kidler tries to clinch but Bidienko moves out of range. Kidler shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Bidienko defends it nicely. Bidienko tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kidler pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Bidienko looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Kidler is fending him off so far but Bidienko persists. Nope, Kidler circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rustam Bidienko. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bidienko tries to clinch there but Kidler circles away.

Kidler clinches up with Bidienko and pushes him back against the cage. Both guys are working to get underhooks. Bidienko is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Kidler gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Kidler lands a nice uppercut. Bidienko has Kidler pressed against the cage, preventing Kidler from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Kidler is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Bidienko is keeping busy. Bidienko tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bidienko avoids a wild elbow strike from Kidler. Bidienko can't find room to land a body shot as Kidler controls the action.
Kidler is trying to break free. Kidler jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Bidienko walks away with a smile on his face. Kidler gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Kidler dives in for a single leg takedown but Bidienko sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Bidienko pulls guard successfully.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Kidler has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Bidienko is proving hard to escape from. Kidler tries to free his leg and advance position but Bidienko is retaining full guard.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Rustam Bidienko just wasn't active enough. Bidienko shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Bidienko was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bidienko tries to move to mount but Kidler blocks the move with his legs. Kidler gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bidienko seems to be looking for submissions.

Kidler is staying active underneath Bidienko, who seems content to just control the action from this position. The fighters are battling for position here. Kidler manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Bidienko trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Rustam Bidienko overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Kidler has his foot on Bidienko's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bidienko works his way back into a safe position though. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Rustam Bidienko will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Kidler looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Roman Kidler seems to be getting the better of the standup. Kidler moves into the clinch successfully.
Bidienko is pressed up against the cage. Kidler has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Bidienko down to the mat. Bidienko avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Bidienko looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Kidler is fending him off so far but Bidienko persists. Nope, Kidler circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rustam Bidienko. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kidler tries to land a front kick but Bidienko steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Kidler has his takedown stuffed and Bidienko counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Kidler's guard now. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Kidler looking for subs off his back but Bidienko has passed one foot through into half guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Bidienko working Kidler over with strikes. Roman Kidler has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Rustam Bidienko is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Bidienko is keen to just control but Kidler is a slippery customer.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Rustam Bidienko. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Bidienko, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent.
