15 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Luke Warm! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Andrew Berry and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Warm just misses with a punch to the body.
James misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Warm tries to grapple but his opponent circles and James counters with a good low kick that Warm was not able to check. Warm will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

James is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Warm shoots in looking for a takedown but James manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Warm's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Warm misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Warm postures up in James's guard and throws a big left but James blocks it.

James avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. James is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Warm is controlling him. Warm wants to control from the top but James keeps moving. Warm makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Warm preventing the sweep. Warm wants to control from the top but James keeps moving. James might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. James is looking for a sweep. James tries to escape but Warm is in control. Warm has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Warm working the ground and pound but James is defending the strikes. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. James is in a bad spot here and he knows it... just holding on for now. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Warm. Warm throws a right and a left that both miss. Warm jabbing away but nothing is landing. James fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
James is looking to clinch. James throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stoppers moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Stoppers looks to score with a jab to the body but Carlton is just out of range. Stoppers throws a lazy uppercut
and Carlton counters by moving into the clinch. Carlton has a couple of punches blocked by Stoppers.
Carlton prevents a body shot from Stoppers. Stoppers misses with a short punch on the inside. Stoppers throws a head punch that misses. Carlton lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Stoppers avoids the elbow strike from Carlton, against the cage.

Carlton has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Carlton waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Stoppers. Carlton is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Stoppers. Stoppers slips under a jab from Carlton. Nice defenses there by Carlton. Carlton lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Carlton looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Carlton slips a jab from Stoppers. That's three minutes gone in the round. Stoppers feints and then cracks Carlton's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Carlton down. Carlton throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Carlton looks for the body kick but Stoppers saw that one coming. Stoppers ducks under a wild hook from Carlton. A cross from Stoppers lands. Carlton fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Stoppers manages to avoid it. Carlton on the wrong end of a nice jab. Carlton punishes Stoppers's body with a nice straight punch. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. A slapping body kick lands there for Carlton. Carlton throws a body punch but Stoppers moves out of range. Stoppers throws a series of strikes that have Carlton backpedaling.
Carlton throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Stoppers. Stoppers throws a solid leg kick but Carlton takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Stoppers.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Carlton tests Stoppers's chin there with a solid looking shot. Carlton misses with a straight right. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Stoppers fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Carlton checks it well. Stoppers misses with an attempted mid kick.
Carlton blocks a low kick nicely. Carlton throws a leg kick but Stoppers sees it coming and checks it nicely. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Willy Stoppers will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Stoppers thows a body shot but no joy. Stoppers moves out of range as Carlton strikes. Carlton lands a lovely overhand right. Kyle Carlton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Carlton throws a low kick, looking for Stoppers's leg but Stoppers calmly moves out of range. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Carlton thuds a left hand into Stoppers's body. Carlton fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Carlton moves forwards but Stoppers connects with a nice, crisp jab. A decent looking cross lands there for Carlton. The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Carlton. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
That's one minute gone in the round. Carlton scores with a jab to the body. Stoppers pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Stoppers looks to score with a jab to the body but Carlton is just out of range. Carlton cracks Stoppers with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Carlton fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Stoppers on the side of the head. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Carlton stuns Stoppers with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Stoppers circles to his right, straight into a beautiful hook by Carlton. Stoppers falls face first into the canvas - great knockout victory for Carlton!
