The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A momentary lapse in concentration from Cason enables Coulson to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Cason manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Cason looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Coulson thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Coulson engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Coulson drops back looking for a leg! Cason is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Cason manages to kick Coulson off! Coulson jumps back into Cason's guard. Coulson stays in close to Cason's body and controls the position. Coulson is pushing down on Cason's leg trying to pass to half guard. Cason is fighting to maintain full guard but Coulson has managed to sneak the leg through. Still in half guard, Coulson seems content to control. Coulson works his foot free and advances to mount. Coulson has control of Cason's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Cason regains control of the situation pretty easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Coulson is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Coulson extends the arm and Cason is forced to tap!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Edwards shoots in but Kishida avoids the takedown attempt easily. Kishida shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Edwards but Edwards pushes him off and we're back to square one. Kishida tries to sprawl but Edwards drives through with a takedown into half guard. Kishida told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet. Edwards is working for a submission of some sort.

Oh, that's unlucky for Edwards but great work by Kishida. Kishida has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Edwards is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Kishida yanks on the arm and Edwards is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Kishida.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Moore swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Moore thuds a left hand into Kurt's body. Kurt will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Big Kurt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kurt looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Kurt lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Kurt misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Moore.
Kurt tries to clinch up and Moore counters with a right hand that sends Kurt tumbling to the canvas! Can Moore finish him? He dives into Kurt's guard looking to do just that!
It looks like Big Kurt has been cut. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Kurt is looking to stand up but Moore isn't so interested in that idea. Moore stays in close to Kurt's body and controls the position. Kurt wants to stand and escape but Moore is having none of it. Kurt working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Moore.
That's one minute gone in the round. Moore won't allow Kurt to get back to his feet. Moore trying to control the position from guard on top but Kurt is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Moore makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Moore knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kurt on the ground. Moore engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Moore is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Moore definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Moore slips nicely into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kurt makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! Moore pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Kurt shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Moore sprawls well. Moore wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Kurt gets slowly back to his feet. Kurt looks winded! Moore connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Moore scoring well with a low kick there.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Moore lands a head shot. That kick from Moore tenderised Kurt's leg. Kurt is trying to keep his angry face on. Kurt takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Moore lands with a shot to the body. Kurt ducks into an uppercut from Moore and that's knocked him out cold! This one is all over!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Engle jabs Zsofka to the body, keeping him at a distance. Zsofka jabbing away but nothing is landing. Engle swings for the body but Zsofka moves out of range.

Engle takes a swing at Zsofka's ribcage but misses. Zsofka throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Zsofka stalks Engle and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Engle's face. Engle staggers backwards, shaken.
That's one minute gone in the round. Zsofka closes the distance and clinches. Engle breaks the clinch.
Zsofka throws a head kick that misses. Engle keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Zsofka. A good leg kick by Engle. Zsofka misses with a straight left. Engle takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Zsofka misses with a series of wild punches.
Zsofka takes a shot right to the bread basket. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Zsofka rushes Engle and presses him up against the cage. Zsofka wants to break the clinch but can't.
Engle really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Zsofka breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Zsofka scores with a decent looking hook. Engle slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Zsofka throws a leg kick but Engle checks it. Zsofka connects with a solid leg kick. Engle avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Zsofka throws a leg kick but Engle sees it coming and moves out of range. Engle throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Engle chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Zsofka can pounce on him.
Zsofka looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Engle looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Engle blocks a jab. Zsofka does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Engle lands a nice hook to Zsofka's body. Zsofka takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Zsofka gets off balance looking for a body kick and Engle counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Engle is looking to wear down Zsofka with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Zsofka swings widly with a right hand
and Engle counters with a stiff right hand. Zsofka swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Engle counters with a left to the body. Zsofka looks winded! Engle lands a nice looking body shot.

Zsofka misses with a kick to the body and Engle makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Engle lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
We've been informed that Zsofka has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Zsofka shoots in and drives through. Engle sprawls well. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Zsofka takes a body punch but keeps moving. Zsofka takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Engle changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. A nice inside leg kick there by Engle. That's going to slow Zsofka down. Engle throws a good cross that connects.
Engle is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Zsofka has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Engle. Engle circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Zsofka to the canvas! Zsofka doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Engle keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!

Deathgrip throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Paul on the side of the head. Ron Paul seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Paul takes the fight into the clinch. Deathgrip managing to block the knees to the body from Paul.
Paul lands a damaging elbow. Paul tries to score a body lock takedown but Deathgrip shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Paul tries to land knees in the clinch but Deathgrip avoids the damage to the body. Paul lands an elbow inside. Paul manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Deathgrip works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Paul looking to hit a scissor sweep but Deathgrip is one step ahead there. Paul is looking for a triangle but Deathgrip pushes his legs off easily.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! James takes a swing at Andersson's ribcage but misses. Nice takedown defense from Andersson. No joy for James on that attempt. Andersson fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Andersson fails to land with a series of punches.
James moves out of range of the body kick. Andersson swats away the attempt to clinch by James. Andersson swings for the body but James moves out of range.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Bonney tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Bonney misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Miyagi.
Bonney shoots for a takedown but Miyagi saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. William Bonney has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Miyagi fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Bonney. Bonney's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Miyagi throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. A solid leg kick lands there for Miyagi.

And that's the end of the fight! Kesuke Miyagi showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Miyagi, winning every round. Will the judges agree?
