2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Luciano Cruz! The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Saam Ante and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cruz drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Cruz tries to stand but Johansson is controlling his head. Johansson stops Cruz from passing to mount. Johansson is trying to control Cruz's posture but Cruz avoids it. Cruz working the strikes but Johansson uses the opportunity to regain half guard. Johansson makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Johansson. Johansson working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Cruz doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Johansson is tightening it up a little... Cruz has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Cruz reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Cruz taps out! Nice BJJ there by Johansson!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Preuss stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Jab by Preuss. Takala has managed to clinch.
Preuss is trying to break the clinch but Takala has him pressed against the cage. Takala keeps control of Preuss as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Preuss is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Preuss manages to break the clinch.
Preuss misses with a straight right. Preuss misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Preuss lands a head shot. Preuss misses with an uppercut. Takala saw that one coming. Preuss rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Takala counters with a two punch combo. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Preuss misses with a hook. Takala ducked under it nicely. Takala tries to close the distance and clinch up but Preuss swats him away and circles back towards the center.
That's one minute gone in the round. Takala moves into the clinch successfully.
Preuss is trying to break free. Takala prevents Preuss from breaking the clinch. Preuss has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Preuss has had enough of the clinch but Takala keeps him there for the moment. Preuss pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. A telegraphed right hand from Preuss misses the target. Preuss scoring well with a low kick there.
Takala checks a leg kick. Takala misses the body punch and Preuss counters with a good low kick that Takala was not able to check. Takala loads up on a big right hand but Preuss slips the punch. Takala on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Preuss. Preuss obviously looking to wear him down.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Takala has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Takala there as he acknowledges the shot. Preuss swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Preuss throws a leg kick and Takala counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Takala tries to clinch but Preuss moves out of range. Preuss scores with a nice right hand.
This has been an exciting period of action! Preuss throws a hook but Takala blocks it. Takala connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Takala tries to clinch but Preuss is having none of it. Takala moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Takala is rocked! Preuss misses with a looping right. Takala is still on wobbly legs! Can Preuss finish him? Preuss waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Takala. A big right followed by a crushing left from Preuss knocks Takala out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Alexandre Preuss! Alexandre Preuss decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! KO looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. West lands a nice leg kick that just misses KO's sensitive parts. West throws out a leg kick but KO moves out of range and West only half commits. KO slips a jab from West. A chopping leg kick lands by West. West throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. KO is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. West lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. KO throws a combination that misses and West counters by moving into the clinch. West holding his opponent close, against the cage.
KO trying to control the position but instead, West has worked for underhooks and has pushed KO into the cage. KO tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

He's obviously looking to slow KO down. KO misses the jab. West lands with a nice combination. KO backs away looking to recover. Randy West seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. West defending well as KO loads up on a big left hand.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Train buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Robinson throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Train tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Robinson is in Train's guard. Robinson wants to pass the guard but Train is keeping the position. Robinson prevents Train from getting back to his feet. Robinson advances position into side control! Train is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Robinson asserts his dominance and retains side control. Robinson working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Train wants to get back to his feet but Robinson drags him back down. Robinson is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Train is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Train is pushing Robinson's head away, looking to escape. Robinson manages to hold on to the position though. Robinson goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Train has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Robinson but great work by Train.
That's one minute gone in the round. Train decides to stand back up. Train leaves Robinson with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Robinson closes this distance looking for a takedown but Train circles away. Train moves into the clinch successfully.
Robinson is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Eddy Robinson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Train scores with a nice hook to the head. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Train. Robinson tries to pull guard but Train won't allow it.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! A nice inside leg kick there by Train. That's going to slow Robinson down. Robinson misses with a takedown attempt and Train counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Jab by Train. Robinson sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Robinson definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Train buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Robinson get stunned by a cross and takes another one on the button. Robinson stumbles backwards and tries to bounce back off the cage but Train runs in and jumps on him with a leaping lead hook that puts him out! Wow, that was highlight reel stuff! Awesome finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Franky Train! During a confident post fight interview, Franky Train thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.

Gunner doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. A left lands for Killer. Killer takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Gunner moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Gunner decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Killer avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Gunner.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Gunner is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Jordan, as that shot connected.
It looks like James Raban has been cut. Jordan moves out of range as Raban throws a body kick.
Raban throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Raban has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Jordan connects with the punch. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Raban fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Jordan pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Jordan lands a nice hook to Raban's body. Raban takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Raban on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

That's one minute gone in the round. Jordan lands a leg kick that knocks Raban off balance momentarily. Raban shoots in but no luck this time. Jordan lands a big head kick that sends Raban tumbling to the mat! Jordan takes a step backwards and waves Raban back to his feet - he wants the finish! This has been an exciting period of action! Raban drops his hands momentarily. Jordan doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Raban staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Raban doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
