Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beast defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Schneider.

Schneider slips a jab and a cross from Beast.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

David Schneider decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
The defeated Jozef Beast had this to say: 'I want to say sorry to my fans! Next time you will see a better fighter. I wasn't prepared for his ground game, but i learned from it. Next fight you will see the real me.'.

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Cao Cao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lotus Suzinuki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Cao might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Cao Cao. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

I would just about give that final round to Lotus Suzinuki.
