Mathers Lll's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Tuckich goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Mathers Lll is on top in guard.

Tuckich has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Mathers Lll should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Tuckich has tightened it up now! Mathers Lll should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Frolov fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Johnson Jr shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Frolov is trying to defend but Johnson Jr finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Oooooh!!! Matumba has knocked Filgueiras down with a huge combo! Matumba steps away and waves a wobbly Filgueiras back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Matumba feints with a jab and clips Filgueiras right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Filgueiras is sent crashing into the canvas and Matumba leaps in for the kill! Filgueiras tries to get to his feet but Matumba is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Filgueiras is in need of a savior and steps in!
