The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Akash closes the distance and clinches.
Reed misses with an elbow over the top.
Reed is trying to break the clinch but Akash is controlling him.
Reed displaying some good clinch control by pressing Akash up against the cage.
Akash has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Reed is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Akash wants a takedown.
Reed gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

It looks like Sam Akash has been cut.
Reed is trying to force a seperation but Akash has the dominant position.
Akash wants to take the fight to the mat but Reed manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Reed lands a nice elbow.
Reed tries a knee to the head but Akash blocks it.

Akash jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Reed walks away with a smile on his face. Akash gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Reed fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks Akash square on the jaw! Damn, Akash is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baraka lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Baraka.
Burlson takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Baraka is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Baraka scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Burlson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Baraka tries to avoid it but Burlson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Baraka to the ground. Baraka escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Baraka lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Burlson lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

It looks like Koitsu Baraka has been cut.
Burlson tries to control but Baraka wriggling away.
Burlson postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Baraka in real trouble here! The ref calls for Baraka to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:44 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Harley Burlson!
A relieved looking Harley Burlson thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
The defeated Koitsu Baraka had this to say: 'It is what it is, I thought my hands were slick enough to pull out the win, but it just didn't work for me. I'm still new to the sport though, and I plan to work hard as I know I can only get better. May need to work on that ground game a bit yeah? Haha, thanks for the time, and good night ladies '.
