0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mo Harkless! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Aaron Knight! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Yukihiro Shimada and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Harkless dodges the punch combination from Knight.
A combination from Knight does no damage. Knight has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Harkless is landing a low percentage of strikes. Harkless really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Harkless tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Knight was well out of range. Poor timing from Harkless. Knight throws a combination. Harkless tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
It looks like Mo Harkless has been cut. Harkless tries for a takedown but Knight sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Harkless throws a hook but Knight blocks it. Harkless throws a looping overhand right but Knight ducks down to avoid it. Harkless throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Knight throws a right and a left that Harkless avoids nicely. Harkless misses the shot to the body. A jab lands there for Harkless. Knight swats away the attempt to clinch by Harkless. Knight circles away from the clinch attempt.
Harkless pivots, looking for a leg kick but Knight is out of range and Harkless settles back down. Knight swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Knight lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Harkless looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
That's one minute gone in the round. Harkless throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Knight stalks Harkless and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Harkless's face. Harkless staggers backwards, shaken. Harkless looks to land a combination. Knight sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Harkless misses with a looping right. No joy there for Knight, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Knight throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Harkless throws a hook to the side of Knight's head but Knight sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Harkless feints and then cracks Knight's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Knight down. Knight moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Knight scores with a crisp jab that stopped Harkless in his tracks. Knight slips under a jab. Harkless blocks a leg kick. Harkless changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Knight tries to avoid it but Harkless manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Knight to the ground. Knight escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mo Harkless. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Knight throws out a leg kick but Harkless moves out of range and Knight only half commits. Knight tries to clinch up but Harkless circles away and keeps his distance. Harkless misses with a hook
and Knight counters with a left and a right that stings Harkless. Aaron Knight is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Harkless shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Knight as he avoids it easily. Knight swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Harkless misses with a right hand and Knight counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Knight connects with a right hand. Harkless shakes it off. Harkless avoids a punch combination nicely.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Harkless checks a leg kick. Knight lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Harkless is rocked! Knight lunges at Harkless with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Harkless's hand. Oh Harkless is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Knight throws a series of punches but Harkless avoids them all with ease. Knight closes the distance and clinches. Harkless manages to break the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Harkless fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Knight avoids it really well and circles away. Harkless throws a one two combo.
Harkless seems to have got his legs back now. A momentary lapse in concentration from Knight enables Harkless to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Knight manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Harkless pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Knight is keeping the position for now. Harkless is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Knight manages to escape and get back to his feet.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Knight moves away from the strike by Harkless. Harkless shoots in for a double leg but Knight sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Harkless misses with a hook. Knight throws a low kick, looking for Harkless's leg but Harkless calmly moves out of range. Knight avoids a punch combination nicely.
Knight is really turning it up, unleashing another crisp combination which drops Harkless like a ton of bricks! The referee dives in to stop the fight, saving Harkless from another fist facial!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Riddick forces Hayashi back against the cage and clinches. Hayashi is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Riddick's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Hayashi shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Riddick is trying to maintain the position but Hayashi is very close to passing his half guard. Hayashi trying to control the action but Riddick is working from the bottom. Hayashi thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Riddick's head. Hayashi is trying to work for a kimura but Riddick is defending well.
Riddick on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Riddick tries to get out of the position. Riddick is not content to let Hayashi control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hayashi prevents Riddick from improving his position. Riddick is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment. Hayashi is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Hayashi is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Hayashi trying to control from half guard but Riddick is working away. Riddick knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hayashi on the ground. Hayashi is stalling here. Riddick is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Hayashi seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Riddick has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Riddick wants to stand but Hayashi is controlling his arm. Riddick slows the pace down.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Riddick has knee on belly and moves into mount. Riddick avoids the attempt from Hayashi to control. Riddick controlling the position easily from mount. Hayashi tries to hold on but Riddick pushes him away. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Riddick sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Hayashi wants to hold on but Riddick pushes him away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Sho Hayashi will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Riddick throws a half hearted mid kick. Riddick scores with a jab to the jaw. Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Riddick. Hayashi shrugs it off though. Good leg kick by Riddick there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Riddick darts in and clinches Hayashi up against the cage. Hayashi's coach down at Tōshi was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Hayashi's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Riddick manages to break the clinch.
Riddick scores with a punch to the head. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Riddick lands a big uppercut and Hayashi crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Hayashi looks OK. Riddick waves Hayashi back to his feet!
Hayashi is rocked! Riddick dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Riddick clinches up with Hayashi and pushes him back against the cage. Hayashi is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Hayashi trying to land knees to the body.
Hayashi is breathing heavily. Riddick pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Riddick clobbers Hayashi with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Riddick lands a nice hook to Hayashi's body. Hayashi takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Riddick cracks Hayashi with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Hayashi looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Riddick finish him?
Hayashi is still on wobbly legs! Can Riddick finish him? Sho Hayashi is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Hayashi is aggressively charging in as Riddick backs up avoiding any damage. Riddick tosses out a jab and Hayashi runs right into it face first! Hayashi is out cold! Riddick dropped down on all fours and is barking in Hayashi's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!

I think God might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Mavado - Gangsta Nuh Play. The crowd seem to be enjoying Bellanca's choice of entrance music: Nightmare by Avenged Sevenfold. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bellanca takes a body punch but keeps moving. God uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Bellanca has time to react. God is looking to land body kicks. God closes the distance and pushes Bellanca back into the cage. God breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. God wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Bellanca uses good head movement to avoid the hook from God. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts God, as that shot connected.
A clash of legs there as Bellanca blocks the low kick. Bellanca on the wrong end of a nice hook. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Bellanca has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from God. Bellanca moves out of range of the body kick from God.
God stuns Bellanca with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Bellanca has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
That's one minute gone in the round. God thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Bellanca if he has to take too many more of those.
Gully God is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Bellanca on the wrong end of a nice jab. Some wild striking there from Bellanca.

and God counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. A looping hook to the body misses from God. Bellanca does a little dance to reset his feet. God lands with a thumping leg kick.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Bellanca trying to control but God is working from the bottom. God is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. God is thwarting Bellanca's attempts to control the position. God thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Bellanca wants to get back to full guard. God tries to stand but his arm is trapped. God keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.

We're going to have a standup here because Gully God wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. God's jab looks to have found its range, popping Bellanca under the eye. Bellanca avoids the body shot from God.
God throws a nice inside leg kick. A low kick from God is predictable there and Bellanca counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in God's guard now. God keeping moving, preventing Bellanca from controlling successfully. God wants to sweep but no luck.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Bellanca gets full guard. God trying to control but Bellanca is working from the bottom. Bellanca pushes God against the cage but God circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Gully God has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Romeo Bellanca. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Bellanca darts in looking for a takedown but God gets double underhooks and turns Bellanca into the cage.

God lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Bellanca keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Bellanca fakes high and swings low for a body shot but God manages to avoid it. God lands a jab to the nose. God tries to land a leg kick but Bellanca saw it coming and moves away.
God throws a nice outside leg kick. God looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
That's two minutes gone in the round. God gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Bellanca looking to sit in guard and control but God gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. God controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Bellanca keeping moving, preventing God from controlling successfully. God stopping the sweep attempt from Bellanca. God trying to control the position from guard on top but Bellanca is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Bellanca had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. God defends it easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. God scoring with punches to the head and body. Bellanca working for a triangle but God defends it easily.

Bellanca wants to pass the guard but God is keeping the position. Bellanca trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Gully God dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
God slips under a jab from Bellanca. God looks to land a body kick but Bellanca moved away. Bellanca walks into a straight right hand from God. Bellanca moves out of range as God throws a body kick.
God throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Bellanca sees it coming and avoids it easily. Crunch! God slams his shin into Bellanca's torso. Bellanca throws a lazy right hand but God sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Bellanca shoots for a takedown but God saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. God lands an overhand right. Bellanca scores with a jab. God acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. God lands a jab to Bellanca's midsection. God tries to work over Bellanca's front leg with a kick but Bellanca checks it. Bellanca shoots in looking for a takedown. God tries to sprawl out of it but Bellanca keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. God manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. God fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. God scores with a shot to the body.

That's going to take a lot out of Romeo Bellanca. Bellanca's hands are dropping dangerously low here and God connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Bellanca scrambles back to his feet.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! God scores with a sloppy right hand. Bellanca should have avoided that one. Bellanca closes the distance and clinches up with God, looking for a takedown. Bellanca pushes God against the cage but God circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Gully God seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bellanca darts in looking for a takedown but God gets double underhooks and turns Bellanca into the cage.

Bellanca on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. God throws a series of strikes that have Bellanca backpedaling.
Bellanca looks for a takedown but God sprawls well. Gully God is winning the standup battle so far. Bellanca drops his hands momentarily and God takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. God scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Romeo Bellanca has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! A chopping leg kick lands by God.
And that's the end of the fight! Gully God showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for God, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sakurai shoots in and drives through. Bud sprawls well. Sakurai misses with a takedown attempt and Bud counters with a nice low kick that buckles Sakurai's knee momentarily. Sakurai tries for a takedown but Bud sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hiro Sakurai. That's going to take a lot out of him. The fight moves into the clinch position. Bud pulls guard effortlessly. Sakurai avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Bud tries to land a sweep but no joy. Sakurai engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Sakurai working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Bud doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Sakurai. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Sakurai seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Bud does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. 24 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Fedor Belfort! The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Belfort closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Belfort throwing shots but Fuchigami is blocking nicely. Fuchigami knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Belfort on the ground. Fuchigami is positioning himself well to prevent Belfort advancing to mount. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Fuchigami is trying to stand up here but Belfort is controlling him well. Belfort is looking for a kimura but Fuchigami is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Belfort to get the leverage. Belfort sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Fuchigami defending well though. Belfort prevents Fuchigami from improving his position. Fuchigami controlling the leg, holding on to half guard. Belfort throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Fuchigami trying to control but Belfort postures up.
