Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Hitman Hard! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tuamodi Fadimudo! The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Wagner Zegers and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fadimudo shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Fadimudo was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Fadimudo working away. Fadimudo in the domination position with Hard hanging on. Hard is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Fadimudo's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Hard regains full guard. Nicely done. Fadimudo wants to pass the guard but Hard is keeping the position. Hard is trying to keep Fadimudo in close.

That's one minute gone in the round. Hard working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Fadimudo doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Fadimudo manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Hard bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Fadimudo's guard. Fadimudo has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Titan Gym. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one. Fadimudo keeping moving, preventing Hard from controlling successfully. Hard throws a big elbow that misses. Fadimudo is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Hard looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Fadimudo keeping moving, preventing Hard from controlling successfully.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Hitman Hard wasn't doing enough on the ground. Hard throws a head kick but Fadimudo moves out of range.
Hard looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Fadimudo tries to close the distance and clinch but Hard swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Fadimudo shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Fadimudo showed some decent athleticism there. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Hard wants to control but Fadimudo is keeping busy and won't allow it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fadimudo missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Fadimudo misses with a head shot. Hard uses the momentum to regain guard. Fadimudo wants to control from the top but Hard keeps moving. Fadimudo must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Hard is looking to stand up but Fadimudo isn't so interested in that idea. Hard looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Fadimudo is fighting to break Hard's control of his arms but Hard is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fadimudo throws a big right hand that misses. Fadimudo postures up.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Fadimudo stopping the sweep attempt from Hard. Fadimudo trying to control but Hard is working from the bottom. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Hitman Hard has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Hard closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Hard trying to control the action but Fadimudo is working from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Hitman Hard dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Hard fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Fadimudo, pushing him back against the ropes. Fadimudo working hard to break the clinch. Fadimudo content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Hard lands a takedown into guard.
Fadimudo pulls Hard in close to prevent any damage. Hard trying to stand up but can't free himself from Fadimudo's guard. Hard advances position into side control!
That's one minute gone in the round. Hard working away. Hard tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Hard has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Fadimudo is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Fadimudo tries to improve position but can't. Hard working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Hard is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Fadimudo is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Hard wants to lay and pray for a moment but Fadimudo keeps working.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hard has knee on belly and moves into mount. Fadimudo takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Fadimudo is looking to get to half guard. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Fadimudo tries to lock up and control but Hard gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Hard jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Fadimudo manages to avoid the submission attempt. This has been an exciting period of action! You can see the frustration on Fadimudo's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hard in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Fadimudo is tapping! That's the end of the fight!

3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Nick Vettel! The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Daniel Blasius and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Daiu tries to clinch but fails miserably and Vettel counters with a one-two to the body. Vettel throws a left and a right that both miss
and Daiu counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Vettel is lucky that one didn't land flush. Vettel swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Daiu counters with a low kick, right behind Vettel 's knee. A looping hook to the body misses from Vettel. Daiu does a little dance to reset his feet. Vettel throws a right and a left that Daiu avoids nicely. Vettel throws a left and a right that both miss
and Daiu counters with a big head kick but Vettel shrugs it off. Daiu with a nice cross. Daiu closes the distance and clinches. Both fighters working to control the clinch. I was talking to Daiu's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. Both guys are working to get underhooks. Vettel can't get the takedown.

Vettel has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Daiu uses from the top position. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Vettel keeping full guard, as Daiu tries to pass.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Vettel is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Daiu would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Vettel has his foot on Daiu's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. The ref stands the fighters back up. Siuto Daiu wasn't doing enough on the ground. Daiu connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Daiu misses with a double jab.
Vettel on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Daiu. Daiu obviously looking to wear him down.
Daiu lets loose with a powerful body kick. Vettel will feel that in the morning. Vettel looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Siuto Daiu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Daiu avoids the body shot from Vettel.
A combination from Vettel does no damage. Daiu tries to clinch up but Vettel circles away and keeps his distance. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Siuto Daiu will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action!
Vettel throws a wild combination but nothing lands. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Vettel throws a right hand that Daiu ducks under and follows up with a left that Daiu also avoids with ease. Daiu buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Daiu rushes Vettel and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch. Daiu pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Daiu will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Daiu turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Vettel misses with a wild body shot. Vettel takes a swing at Daiu's ribcage but misses. Daiu rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Vettel moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Daiu cracks the inside of Vettel's front leg. Vettel misses with a double jab.

Daiu scores with a hook to the body. Vettel takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Vettel is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Daiu fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Vettel looks to land a combination but Daiu avoids it well. Vettel misses with a series of wild punches.
Daiu lands a nice leg kick that just misses Vettel's sensitive parts. Daiu tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Daiu throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. This has been an exciting period of action! A left and a right from Daiu both land. Nice combination.

Daiu connects with an inside leg kick. Vettel lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Daiu circles away quickly and effectively. Vettel keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Daiu. Daiu clinches with his opponent.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Daiu lands a nice looking kick to the body. Vettel takes a step back to recover. Vettel misses with a wild combination.

Vettel throws a series of punches but Daiu avoids them all with ease. Vettel tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Vettel swats away the attempt to clinch by Daiu.

Daiu throws a nice looking combination but Vettel bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Daiu misses with the combination.

and Daiu counters with a thumping low kick. Daiu fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Vettel has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Siuto Daiu is winning the standup battle so far. No joy there for Daiu, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fight stays on the outside here - Daiu looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Vettel misses with the combination.

And that's the end of the fight! Siuto Daiu showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Daiu, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sinescu lands with a cross. Green looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Sinescu misses with a few strikes there.

Sinescu rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Green moves out of range and avoids them all easily. No luck with that takedown attempt from Green. Sinescu paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Sinescu lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Green changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Sinescu tries to avoid it but Green manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Sinescu to the ground. Sinescu escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Green throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Sinescu's waist but Sinescu gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Green off to one side. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Heino Green. That's going to take a lot out of him. Green takes a kick to the side of the head. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Sinescu lands with an overhand left. Sinescu throws a right hand that Green ducks under and follows up with a left that Green also avoids with ease. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Green is defended easily by Sinescu. Sinescu lands an overhand right.
Green is rocked!
That's one minute gone in the round. Sinescu fakes the body blow, causing Green to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Green goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!

Rokou throws a nice looking combination but Van Bruinier bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Van Bruinier thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Rokou if he has to take too many more of those.
Van Bruinier ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Rokou jabbing away but nothing is landing. Rokou shoots in and drives through. Van Bruinier sprawls well. Van Bruinier jabs Rokou to the body, keeping him at a distance. Van Bruinier lands an overhand right. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Van Bruinier tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Rokou defends well and Van Bruinier ends up having to push Rokou into the ropes where they will battle it out in the clinch. Van Bruinier is working for takedown but Rokou is calmly controlling the position for now. Rokou tries to work over Van Bruinier's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Rokou looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Rokou breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Rokou's coach down at Titan Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Rokou's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Rokou shoots for a double leg takedown but Van Bruinier sprawls well. He's pushed Rokou's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Van Bruinier shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Piil shoots in and bounces Yar off the ropes to secure the takedown into guard. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Piil wants to control from the top but Yar keeps moving. Piil stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Yar swivels though and keeps the full guard. Piil drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Piil jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Piil trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Yar manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! Piil is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. Kent has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Sun Tzu's Art of War in the buildup to the fight. Pettis uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Pettis blocks a jab. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Kent connects with a nice short shot to Pettis's temple. That's three minutes gone in the round. Kent is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Pettis tries to kick Kent off but Kent keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Pettis is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Kent not landing any meaningful shots this time. Kent is looking to take a break and control but Pettis is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Kent is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Kent missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Kent landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Kent thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Kent winds up and cracks Pettis with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Kent thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Pettis's head.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Pettis avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Kent. Kent winds up and cracks Pettis with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Pettis is rocked! Kent is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Pettis is still in real trouble! Can Kent finish him? Kent lands strikes from half guard. Kent slips a nice elbow through Pettis's hands, connecting with Pettis's forehead. Kent frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Kent looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Pettis covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
