The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Solid stuffs the takedown.
Solid throws a head kick but Silva moves out of range.
Silva fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Silva blocks a head kick by Solid.

Solid lands a big head kick that sends Silva tumbling to the mat! Solid takes a step backwards and waves Silva back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Chuck Silva has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
That kick from Solid tenderised Silva's leg. Silva is trying to keep his angry face on.
Solid throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Silva shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Solid pinned against the cage. Solid gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Solid has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Boba Solid has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chuck Silva.
Silva takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Solid misses the shot to the body.

Solid dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Silva. That did some damage!

Silva shoots in and gets a takedown into Solid's guard.

Silva drops back looking for a leg! Solid is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Solid manages to kick Silva off! Silva jumps back into Solid's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Silva drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Silva as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Solid screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Silva! Nice submission victory there!

Fox seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

Chad Feruno's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

Stiffington closes this distance looking for a takedown but Rajala circles away.
