The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Yakazuki checks a leg kick.

Erikkson lands a left and a right that send Yakazuki crashing to the mat, dazed. Erikkson thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Yakazuki is rocked!

It looks like Manabu Yakazuki has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Yakazuki looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Oh Yakazuki is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Erikkson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Yakazuki stuffs the takedown attempt from Erikkson. Erikkson gets slowly back to his feet.
Erikkson pounces like a tiger and cracks Yakazuki with a vicious hook! Yakazuki is down but not out! Erikkson follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Robinson throws a right and a left that both miss.
Robinson throws a push kick but Hitigaki slaps the foot to one side.
Robinson shoots in looking for a takedown. Hitigaki tries to sprawl out of it but Robinson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hitigaki manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Robinson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Hitigaki seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Robinson has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
