 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wasilew misses with a double jab.
Wasilew uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Lau. Nice defenses there by Wasilew. Lau catches Wasilew with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Wasilew throws a right and a left that both miss. Wasilew stuffs the takedown attempt from Lau. Lau gets slowly back to his feet. Lau swings for the body but Wasilew moves out of range.
Lau drives through and clinches with Wasilew against the cage.
Lau keeps control of Wasilew as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Lau successfully pulls guard.
Wasilew won't allow Lau to sweep him here.
Lau had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Wasilew defends it easily.
Lau is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Lau has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Wasilew can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Lau keeping moving, preventing Wasilew from controlling successfully.
Lau escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Wasilew gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Wasilew tries to stand but Lau is controlling from the bottom.
Lau pushes a forearm under Wasilew's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Wasilew is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Carwin tries to close the distance and clinch up but Lafer swats him away and circles back towards the center. A looping hook to the body misses from Lafer. Carwin does a little dance to reset his feet. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Carwin is defended easily by Lafer. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Carwin is defended easily by Lafer. Lafer throws a body punch but Carwin moves out of range. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lafer throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Lafer bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Carwin prevents Lafer from improving position. Lafer cracks Carwin with a big elbow. Lafer is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Carwin's shoulder. That is not cool. Lafer tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Carwin is not in a great position here, taking some shots. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Lafer has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Lafer moves into full mount! Lafer controlling his opponent. Lafer won't let Carwin get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. Carwin really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lafer. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Lafer controlling his opponent. Lafer lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

Lafer takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Carwin looks gassed! Carwin tries to hold on but Lafer pushes him away. Lafer controlling the position easily from mount. Lafer putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Math Lafer dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Carwin moves away from the strike by Lafer. Randy Carwin is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Lafer scores with a crisp jab that stopped Carwin in his tracks. Lafer misses the shot to the body. Lafer throws a hook but Carwin avoids it easily. Lafer misses with a wild body shot. Lafer throws a hook to the side of Carwin's head but Carwin sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lafer misses with a body shot.
Lafer looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Lafer seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Lafer working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Carwin's head. Lafer trying to control but Carwin is working from the bottom.
 The referee stands the fighters back up. Math Lafer just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Lafer throws a series of punches but Carwin moves out of range. Randy Carwin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Lafer misses with a series of wild punches.
Lafer takes a swing at Carwin's ribcage but misses.
Lafer shoots in and bounces Carwin off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Lafer looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Lafer is looking to work some ground and pound but Carwin has wrist control.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Lafer wants to control from the top but Carwin keeps moving. Lafer scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Lafer passes Carwin's left leg - he's now in half guard. Math Lafer overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Lafer is taking a breather. Carwin says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Lafer is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Carwin! Lafer content just to control the position here.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. A nice elbow there by Lafer. Lafer controlling his opponent. Lafer pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Lafer controlling his opponent. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Carwin takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Lafer lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
Math Lafer dominated that second round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Lafer closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Lafer lands in his opponent's guard. Lafer postures up in Carwin's guard and throws a big left but Carwin blocks it. Lafer passes Carwin's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Carwin is trying to control but can't.
Lafer passes the guard and advances to mount! Lafer is in the full mount, landing strikes. Carwin takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Lafer working away from the top, dropping strikes. Lafer working the ground and pound effectively.
 That's one minute gone in the round. The referee warns Carwin that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

 That's two minutes gone in the round. Lafer can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Carwin is looking to escape. Carwin is in a horrible position here. Lafer smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Lafer tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Carwin is bucking up trying to escape but Lafer cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Lafer controlling his opponent.
 The referee stands the fighters back up. Math Lafer just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
Lafer gets a takedown into half guard. Lafer sitting and controlling from the half guard. Randy Carwin has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Carwin can do anything to dispel that myth.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Lafer's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Carwin is trying to stand up here but Lafer is controlling him well.
And that's the end of the fight! Math Lafer showed his dominance in that final round. Well Lafer has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A telegraphed takedown attempt from Rivera is defended easily by Aldo. Rivera fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Rivera shoots in for a takedown but Aldo shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Jose Aldo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Christian Rivera. Rivera avoids a punch combination nicely.
A combination from Aldo does no damage. Aldo swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Rivera shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Aldo but Aldo pushes him off and we're back to square one. Rivera takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Rivera shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Aldo's guard. Rivera stopping the sweep attempt from Aldo. Aldo is pulling down on Rivera's head to control his posture.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Rivera wants to pass the guard but Aldo is keeping the position. Aldo has control of Rivera's left arm, preventing Rivera from doing any damage. Christian Rivera is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Rivera takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. A cross from Aldo lands. Aldo wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Aldo's corner calls for a 1-2. Aldo obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Aldo drops Rivera with a beautiful combination! Rivera stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Aldo is looking for the KO!
 Rivera is rocked! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Aldo drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of Rivera's head, knocking him out cold! Aldo is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fighters circling - Acevedes throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Silva throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Acevedes's waist but Acevedes gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Silva off to one side. Silva misses with a jab, cross combination.
Silva fails with the takedown. Silva shoots in looking for a takedown. Acevedes tries to sprawl out of it but Silva keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Acevedes manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gao Silva. That's going to take a lot out of him. Silva wants to clinch. Acevedes shoots and misses

verr decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The Blade is refusing to be controlled, as verr sits in half guard. verr wants to free his trapped foot but The Blade is holding on for dear life with his legs. The Blade is not content to let verr control the position. verr not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. verr is thwarting The Blade's attempts to control the position. verr seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but The Blade does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The Blade's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Frank The Blade is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. verr fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but The Blade avoids it really well and circles away. The Blade lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
The Blade fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with verr, pushing him back against the cage. The Blade blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. verr changes levels and goes for a takedown here. The Blade fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Willis shoots for a takedown but Mars saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Mars throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Willis sees it coming and avoids it easily. Mars swats away the attempt to clinch by Willis.
Mars closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Mars lands in his opponent's guard. Mars scores with a decent looking elbow strike.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Larinov throws a right and a left that Reyes avoids nicely.
Larinov drops Reyes with a beautiful combination! Reyes stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Larinov is looking for the KO!

 It looks like Nick Reyes has been cut. Larinov throws a right and a left that Reyes avoids nicely. Reyes fails to land the takedown. Larinov misses with a wild combination.

Reyes tries to score a power double leg takedown but Larinov sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Reyes somewhat. Reyes dives in and grabs Larinov's left leg, looking for a takedown. Larinov pushes down on Reyes's head and hops out. Larinov throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Reyes.

Larinov drops Reyes with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Reyes looks back up at him and smiles so Larinov waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Reyes is breathing heavily. A punch combination from Larinov misses. Thud! ouch! good body kick from Larinov - that will leave a mark!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Larinov moves into range and clinches up with Reyes. Reyes wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Larinov has him pressed against the cage.
Larinov's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Larinov stuns Reyes with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Larinov scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Larinov swinging wildly here.
Larinov will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Reyes. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery. A big right followed by a crushing left from Larinov knocks Reyes out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!
