The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fuzi throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chinzorig with a lazy takedown attempt and Patterson counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Patterson is figuring out what he wants to do next. Chinzorig trying to control here.
Patterson has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Patterson looking to control and managing it successfully. Chinzorig tries to lock up and control but Patterson gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. A nice elbow there by Patterson. Patterson controlling the position easily from mount. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Chinzorig is desperately trying to improve his position but Patterson has a good base and remains in mount. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Diaz tries to score a body lock takedown but The Prophet shows good agility there to stay on his feet. The Prophet prevents a body shot from Diaz. The Prophet misses with a knee to the head.
