The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Flores misses with a wild combination.
Mirko Barnett seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Flores fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Flores takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Barnett lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Flores has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Flores and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Barnett throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Barnett tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Flores paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Barnett lands a nice uppercut.

Barnett pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Barnett lands with a nice body punch.
Flores is breathing heavily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Flores tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Flores walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Barnett closes the distance and clinches.

Both fighters circling a little - Barnett finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Barnett throws a nice outside leg kick.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Flores has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Barnett.

Barnett tries to clinch but Flores is having none of it.
Barnett connects with the punch.
Barnett throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Barnett lands a big right hand that sends Flores crashing to the mat! Barnett stays standing though and waves Flores back to his feet!

It looks like Gabriel Flores has been cut.
Flores ducks into an uppercut from Barnett and that's knocked him out cold! This one is all over!
