 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blackhead shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Mason napping and manages to drive through into side control! Mason tries to bench press Blackhead off him but Blackhead keeps the position. Mason gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Mason is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Blackhead's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Blackhead's back!
Mason working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Blackhead is doing well to defend. Mason seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Blackhead is forced to tap and this one is over!

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Driver fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Driver fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Amander looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Driver throws a lazy right hand but Amander sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Driver lands with a good body shot. Amander looks gassed! Amander takes a shot right to the bread basket. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Amander dodges the punch combination from Driver.
Driver fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Driver lands a big right hand that sends Amander crashing to the mat! Driver stays standing though and waves Amander back to his feet!
 Amander is rocked!
 It looks like Sal Amander has been cut. Driver throws an uppercut from hell that sends Amander clean off his feet! He's out cold! Driver stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.

Beam gets the takedown into side control. Beam working the head with strikes. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Beam scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Anka to see if he's OK. Anka is trying to get back to half guard. Anka wants to get back to his feet but Beam drags him back down. Beam grinds an elbow into Anka's temple. Anka is trying to buck Beam off. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Anka gets back to half guard. Anka throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Anka has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Anka wants to get back to his feet.
Beam drops an elbow to the side of Anka's head. Beam really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Beam is controlling the pace.

Beam lands a couple of elbows. Beam showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Beam is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Anka can do to turn this around? Beam scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Beam trying to control but Anka is working from the bottom. Beam is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Anka is looking to stand up but Beam isn't so interested in that idea. Anka wants to sweep but no luck. Beam is stalling in the full guard.

Beam trying to control the position from guard on top but Anka is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Beam looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Beam postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Anka throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

Anka ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Anka swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Anka defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Beam. Anka wants to clinch up but Beam keeps it at a distance. Anka uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Beam. Anka thows a left - swing and a miss! Anka fails with an attempt to clinch.

 That's three minutes gone in the round. Beam shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Anka as he avoids it easily. Anka tries to clinch up. Anka throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Beam keeps the fight on the outside. Kalle Anka is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Anka wants to clinch up but Beam keeps it at a distance. Anka throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Anka is breathing heavily. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Anka.
Anka is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Beam connects with a nice short shot to Anka's temple. Beam takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Anka works his way to full guard. Good work. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Anka keeping moving, preventing Beam from controlling successfully. Anka can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Beam controls the pace. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Beam's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Anka looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Beam puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Beam lands a nice short elbow. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Beam is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.

Beam swats away the attempt to clinch by Anka. Anka wants to clinch. Beam shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Anka as he jumps to the side. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Anka lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Anka fails in his attempt to clinch. Beam swats away the attempt to clinch by Anka.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Anka tries to work over Beam's front leg with a kick but Beam checks it. Anka tries to close the distance and clinch but Beam swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Anka wants to clinch up but Beam keeps it at a distance. Anka fails in his attempt to clinch. Anka pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Anka throws a push kick but Beam slaps the foot to one side. Anka tries to clinch up but Beam circles away and keeps his distance.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Beam feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Anka takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Anka wants to stand up but Beam is controlling him. Anka is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Beam is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Beam postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Beam connects with a couple of short punches. Beam is stalling in the full guard. Anka throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Beam is working Anka over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Anka wants to stand up but Beam is controlling him. Kalle Anka has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Beam's corner is telling him to maintain position. Beam lands a couple of elbows. Anka keeping moving, preventing Beam from controlling successfully. Beam advances to half guard. Beam works his way into full mount! Beam fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Beam cracks Anka with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Beam lands with some strikes. Anka throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing. Anka is looking to improve his position but Beam isn't that keen on the idea. Beam putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Anka flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Beam controlling the position easily from mount. Beam working Anka over with strikes here. Beam controlling his opponent. Beam landing strikes, looking to finish! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Brown lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Brown scores with a slapping inside leg kick. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Brown jabs Regan right on the nose. Regan blinks but takes it well. Regan tries to clinch up but Brown circles away and keeps his distance. Brown feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Regan crashing to the mat! This one is all over!

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Donny Dane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Donnie Darko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dane's entrance music is Candy Paint. A fine choice. Donnie Darko struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 187.1lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Donnie Darko told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Javier Gattuso! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, James Glass and James Atkins.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gattuso misses with a straight left.
Gattuso gets caught flat footed, as Lock shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Lock showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Lock trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Lock controls from within his opponent's guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Lock accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Lock passes Gattuso's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Ground and pound from Lock.
Lock is working for a submission of some sort.
Gattuso is trying to stand up here but Lock is controlling him well.

Lock is trying to work for a kimura but Gattuso is defending well.

Lock has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Gattuso's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Lock is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Gattuso is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Gattuso flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Lock anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Gattuso and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Lock slips an arm under Gattuso chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Lock has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Lock is squeezing on Gattuso like an anaconda would it's prey. Gattuso fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Han scoring well with a low kick there.
Train blocks a low kick nicely. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Han.
Train shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Han as he jumps to the side. Han throws a leg kick that misses. Han throws a low kick but Train avoids it. Train shoots in for a takedown but Han shows good takedown defense. Han throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. Train looks gassed! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Han sends Train crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Han is motioning to the referee to let Train up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
 It looks like Jimmy Train has been cut. Han dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Train. That did some damage! Han lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Train falls backwards - clearly groggy! Han dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Von Han! Von Han retains his heavyweight title!
