The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Willian manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Hirano on his heels. He'll look to pass Hirano's guard now, I'm sure.
Hirano has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Tokyo Totally Gym + Sauna. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
Willian controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hirano has his hands on Willian's head, controlling the position.
Willian is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Phil Willian wasn't doing enough on the ground.

The referee asks Willian politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Willian prefers to stall for the moment though.

Hirano has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Willian is really squeezing tight and eventually Hirano passes out! Michaels connects with a crisp jab.
Michaels looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Michaels will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Brayn tries to score a power double leg takedown but Michaels sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Brayn somewhat.
Brayn ducks right into an uppercut from Michaels.

Brayn looks up at the clock. Bad move! Michaels lands a right hand from hell, dropping Brayn. Michaels pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.

Dwayne Michaels spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
