Dough throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Weapon's waist but Weapon gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Dough off to one side.

Dough shoots for a double leg takedown but Weapon sprawls well. He's pushed Dough's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Weapon cracks Dough with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Dough looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Weapon finish him?

Both fighters circle each other, looking for something big. Weapon moves in and throws an overhand right. That hurt Dough! Weapon continues to tee off on Dough, landing with a left and a right! Weapon connects with a right hand that leaves Dough sleeping against the cage! What a finish by Weapon!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Waters closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Saur's guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Waters trying to control but Saur is working from the bottom.
Saur has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
We've been hearing good reports from Saur's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Waters trying to control the position from guard on top but Saur is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Sam Waters was stalling too much, according to the referee.

Saur has an Americana. Waters didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Saur is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Saur hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
