Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shawne Merriman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kris Jenkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Shawne Merriman has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Shawne Merriman seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Merriman or perhaps it was just good defense by Jenkins which made him look bad.
Jenkins shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Merriman is looking to improve his position.
Merriman preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.
Jenkins is pressing down on Merriman's thigh, looking to free his foot. Merriman is holding on for now.
Merriman gets full guard.
Merriman tries to land a sweep but no joy.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Merriman manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Jenkins is working to get back to half guard.
Merriman controlling his opponent.
Merriman scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Jenkins?
Jenkins really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Merriman. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Merriman takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Merriman can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Jenkins is looking to escape.
A nice elbow there by Merriman.
Jenkins looks gassed!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jenkins tries to hold on but Merriman pushes him away.
Jenkins has left one of his arms exposed and Merriman doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Jenkins screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nick gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Wizzlegorg to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Nick looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Nick is working an open guard so Wizzlegorg takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
No joy there for Wizzlegorg, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Nick tries to clinch but Wizzlegorg is having none of it.
Wizzlegorg changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Nick looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Wizzlegorg decides to stand back up. Wizzlegorg steps back and let's Nick get back to his feet.
Wizzlegorg shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Wizzlegorg is standing up, even though he is in mount.
Wizzlegorg grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Nick takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Wizzlegorg cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
