and Helix counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
The crowd cheers as Hammouche lands an impressive looking overhand right. Helix doesn't seem phased though.

Webster comes into the arena with Livin' On The Edge blaring out of the sound system. Lander is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Tribute. Ice Lander told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lander steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Webster.
Lander takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Lander connects with a leg kick. Webster looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Webster tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Some bone on bone action there as Webster checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Webster throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Lander tries to move into range but Webster moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Webster ducks under a wild hook from Lander.
Webster just misses with a punch to the body.
Ice Lander seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Webster lands a big uppercut and Lander crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Lander looks OK. Webster waves Lander back to his feet!

It looks like Ice Lander has been cut.
Lander fails in his attempt to clinch.
Lander is still on wobbly legs! Can Webster finish him?
Lander thows a left - swing and a miss!
Lander seems to have recovered his senses.

Webster drops Lander with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Lander looks back up at him and smiles so Webster waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Lander throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Lander tries to close the distance and clinch up but Webster swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Lander tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Webster was well out of range. Poor timing from Lander.
Webster cracks Lander with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Lander tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Webster pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Lander is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Njewel postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Njewel wants to control from the top but Rossovich keeps moving.
Njewel is really struggling to control Rossovich but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Njewel won't allow Rossovich to sweep him here.
Njewel is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Rossovich tries to land a sweep but no joy.

More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Els from any more punishment! Els complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
