Cruz shoots in for a double leg but Batista sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Cruz on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Cruz has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Teach throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Diamondback's waist but Diamondback gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Teach off to one side.
Diamondback looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
