Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Lol Jk! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Patrick Marleau! The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Radbod Blank and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Marleau walks into a jab. Marleau shoots and misses and Jk counters with an inside leg kick. Jk defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Marleau. Jk tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Marleau misses with a takedown attempt - Jk sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Lol Jk has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Patrick Marleau. Jk swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Jk does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Marleau fails with the takedown and Jk counters with a lovely straight right hand!
It looks like Patrick Marleau has been cut. Marleau gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily enabling Jk to counter with a crisp jab.
That's one minute gone in the round. Marleau goes for a double leg but Jk avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Jk continues to drive forward. Jk manages to break the clinch.
Marleau fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Jk misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Jk throws a solid leg kick but Marleau takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Jk. Jk throws a low kick, looking for Marleau's leg but Marleau calmly moves out of range. Marleau shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Jk counters with a good low kick that Marleau was not able to check. Sloppy strikes from Jk. Those never looked like landing. Lol Jk seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A bone on bone clash there as Marleau blocks the leg kick.
Marleau with a poor takedown and Marleau takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Jk will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Marleau fails with the takedown. Marleau looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Jk swinging wildly here.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Jk misses with a low kick. Marleau misses with a hook. Jk ducked under it nicely. Sloppy strikes from Jk. Those never looked like landing. Marleau gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Jk counters with a low kick, right behind Marleau 's knee. Lol Jk is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Jk feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Marleau's calf. Marleau has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Jk. Marleau is trying desperately to land a takedown but Jk is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Marleau. A bone on bone clash there as Marleau blocks the leg kick.
A combination from Jk does no damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jk fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Jk swinging wildly here.
Marleau misses with a takedown attempt - Jk sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Jk catches Marleau with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Jk keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Marleau shoots in for a takedown but Jk shows good takedown defense. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lol Jk dominated that round. The cut man is working on Patrick Marleau's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Jk throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Jk scoring well with a low kick there.

That's one minute gone in the round. Jk uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Marleau. Marleau's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. Jk swings away with a leg kick that misses. Jk displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Marleau has a takedown stuffed. Jk buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Marleau rushes Jk and presses him up against the cage. Jk pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Jk does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Marleau sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Marleau closes this distance looking for a takedown but Jk circles away. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Jk lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Marleau backs up against the cage.
Lol Jk is winning the standup battle so far. Jk fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Marleau checks it well. Jk lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Marleau tries for a takedown but Jk sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Lol Jk has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Patrick Marleau. Marleau fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Marleau misses with a lunging right hand
and Jk counters with a slapping leg kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Marleau fails with a takedown attempt. Marleau is breathing heavily. Marleau misses with a takedown and Jk makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Marleau tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Jk uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Marleau has time to react. Marleau fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Jk avoids it really well and circles away. Marleau has his takedown stuffed and Jk counters with a left and a right that stings Marleau. Jk lands with a big right hook that stumbles Marleau - he's out on his feet here! Jk follows up with another monster hook that separates Marleau from consciousness! Marleau falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Jk stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Lol Jk! A very excited looking Lol Jk made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Simpson wants to clinch. Simpson looks to clinch and Mladenov counters with a stiff right hand. Simpson is looking to clinch. The fight stays on the outside here - Simpson looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Simpson tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Mladenov decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Simpson's guard. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Mladenov stops Simpson from standing up. Mladenov controlling from the top position. Simpson working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Mladenov.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mladenov throws a big right hand that misses. Simpson might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Simpson wants to stand and escape but Mladenov is having none of it. Mladenov throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Simpson works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Mladenov missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Mladenov pushing down on Simpson's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Mladenov is looking to advance position but Simpson won't allow it. Mladenov drops an elbow to the side of Simpson's head. Mladenov wants to pass to mount but Simpson is defending the position. Mladenov stops Simpson from getting back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Mladenov in particular looking to stall. It looks like Mladenov might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Mladenov seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Mladenov content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Simpson is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Mladenov scores with a couple of nice shots. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mladenov thows a huge punch but Simpson dodges it nicely.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Mladenov connects with a nice short shot to Simpson's temple. Mladenov working Simpson over with strikes. Mladenov scoring with strikes to the body and head. Simpson is breathing heavily. Mladenov missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Mladenov works his way into side control. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Mladenov has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Simpson is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Mladenov yanks on the arm and Simpson is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Mladenov.
