The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rain connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Apollonik clinches up with Rain and pushes him back against the cage. Rain is looking for a takedown. Apollonik has had enough of the clinch but Rain keeps him there for the moment. Apollonik is trying to break the clinch but Rain has him pressed against the cage. Apollonik lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Apollonik is trying to break the clinch but Rain has him pressed against the cage. A nice right hand lands inside from Apollonik. Apollonik managing to block the knees to the body from Rain.

Apollonik gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Rain escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Rain manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Apollonik on his heels. He'll look to pass Apollonik's guard now, I'm sure. Rain seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Rain pushing down on Apollonik's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mcneil misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Mcneil throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hall's waist but Hall gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Mcneil off to one side. Hall avoids the head kick by Mcneil.
Hall shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Mcneil's guard. Mcneil wants to stand up but Hall is controlling him. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hall accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Mcneil keeping moving, preventing Hall from controlling successfully. Hall thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Mcneil wants to stand but Hall is controlling the position. Hall tries to stand but Mcneil is controlling from the bottom. Mcneil wants to stand up but Hall is controlling him.

Hall could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Hall trying to stand up but can't free himself from Mcneil's guard. Hall drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Hall jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Mcneil is trying to keep Hall in close.
Hall stops Mcneil from standing up. Hall sitting in guard, not really doing much. Hall drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Mcneil manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Hall has Mcneil in his guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mcneil wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Hall's closed guard. He's half up but Hall has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Hall pivots and extends the arm, Mcneil falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Hall! Well done that man!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Patola stuffs the takedown. Patola defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Country. Country darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Country trying to control the action but Patola is working from the bottom. Country not landing any meaningful shots this time. Country trying to pass the guard but Patola defending well. Patola avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Country. Patola wants to control but Country is keeping busy and won't allow it. Country is trying to work for a kimura but Patola is defending well.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Country looking to control but Patola is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Country has hold of Patola's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Patola manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Country is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Country thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Country is nestled in close to Patola, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Country is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Patola defends it well. Country is breathing heavily. Patola keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Country throwing shots but Patola is blocking nicely.

Kozlof takes a shot right to the bread basket. Bullock with a strong takedown there and he's ended up in side control. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Bullock cracks Kozlof with a big right hand but Kozlof just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Kozlof decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Bullock feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Kozlof sprawling to the canvas! Kozlof rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Bullock finish him?!

Bullock lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Bullock thows a body shot but no joy. Bullock looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Kozlof is fending him off so far but Bullock persists. Nope, Kozlof circles away and we're back to standing. Bullock fails with an attempt to clinch.

Kozlof breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Walden manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Torrens trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Walden looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
