Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jens Witjes! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Rob Shawn! The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Albert Achterberg and Paulsen Ambrosius.

Shawn closes the distance and pushes Witjes back into the cage. Shawn has Witjes pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Witjes manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Witjes is working for takedown but Shawn is calmly controlling the position for now.
Shawn drags the fight down to the ground.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Witjes wants to stand and escape but instead Shawn has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Shawn throws a big elbow that misses. Shawn lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Witjes has Shawn pulled in close to control his posture. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Shawn trying to control but Witjes is working from the bottom.
Witjes is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Shawn really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Witjes. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Shawn keeping moving, preventing Witjes from controlling successfully. Witjes controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Witjes keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Shawn's head.

letting Gerich counter with a right hand. Gerich throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Dellaria counters with a left and a right that stings Gerich. Gerich finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Dellaria has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Dellaria there as he acknowledges the shot. Gerich misses with a body kick. Dellaria wants to land a leg kick but Gerich is out of range. A lazy left from Gerich finds it's target. Gerich throws a push kick but Dellaria slaps the foot to one side. Dellaria shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Gerich pinned against the cage. Gerich gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Dellaria closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Gerich's guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Dellaria loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Gerich is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Dellaria throws an elbow that misses. Gerich uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Dellaria's guard. Nice move by Gerich! Gerich stopping the sweep attempt from Dellaria.

Varshik Gerich is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Dellaria rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Gerich moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Varshik Gerich seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Dellaria misses with a head kick.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Dellaria. Gerich stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Gerich gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Dellaria preventing the sweep. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Gerich pulls Dellaria in close to prevent any damage.

Greg Dellaria showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Dellaria takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. A lazy body kick from Dellaria and Gerich counters with a head kick. Dellaria on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Dellaria fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Gerich sprawls well initially but Dellaria persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Gerich wants to improve his position but Dellaria is controlling well.
Gerich has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Dellaria is working away from the top position though. Gerich is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Dellaria scores with a couple of nice shots.

Engelbreckt shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Briggs pinned against the cage. Briggs gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Briggs shoots for a double leg takedown but Engelbreckt sprawls well. He's pushed Briggs's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Lee moves forwards but Takaki connects with a nice, crisp jab. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Takaki tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Lee was well out of range. Poor timing from Takaki. Lee shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Takaki as he avoids it easily. Lee avoids the head kick by Takaki.
A head kick lands from Takaki that sends Lee to the canvas. Lee tries to scramble back to his feet but Takaki brings him back down into side control. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Takaki tries to move to mount but Lee blocks the move with his legs. Takaki wants to lay and pray for a moment but Lee keeps working. Lee regains half guard.

Mlodzinski shoots in looking for a takedown but Smith manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Mlodzinski's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Smith avoids the head kick by Mlodzinski.

A big left from Peggy misses. Sen blocks a jab. Maksim Peggy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sen tries to work over Peggy's front leg with a kick but Peggy checks it. Sen turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Sen throws a hook to the side of Peggy's head but Peggy sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Sen walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Peggy looks to score with a jab to the body but Sen is just out of range. Sen tries a head kick but it misses.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Peggy.
Peggy closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Keo wants to clinch but Badger slips to the side and Badger counters with a straight right hand. Keo uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Badger.
Keo tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Badger makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Badger looks to land a right hand but Keo moved out of range. Badger throws a series of punches but Keo moves out of range. Badger tries to land a front kick but Keo steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. The fight stays on the outside here - Keo looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

The fight stays on the outside here - Keo looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Russel shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Russel showed some decent athleticism there. Chaos is staying active underneath Russel, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Chaos tries to roll over but Russel keeps him under control. Chaos is holding on to half guard well. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Russel wants to take a breather but Chaos is having none of it. Russel sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Chaos defending well though. Russel missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Russel thows a huge punch but Chaos dodges it nicely.

Russel has hold of one of Chaos's legs. Chaos is fighting the takedown attempt but Russel gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Chaos is looking to stand up but Russel isn't so interested in that idea. Chaos controlling Russel's posture. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! A close round but Ben Russel will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Chaos pushes Russel away with a front kick. A good leg kick by Chaos. Nice takedown defense from Chaos. No joy for Russel on that attempt. A slow jab from Russel misses its intended target. Chaos throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Russel fails to land the takedown. JaKaSa Chaos has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ben Russel. Russel moves away from the strike by Chaos. Chaos throws a nice inside leg kick. Nice shot lands for Chaos. Chaos tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Russel was well out of range. Poor timing from Chaos. Russel takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Russel changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Chaos tries to avoid it but Russel manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Chaos to the ground. Chaos escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
