The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Some wild striking there from Eisenhardt.

Gangmanstyle shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Eisenhardt napping and manages to drive through into side control! The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Eisenhardt tries to buck Gangmanstyle off but Gangmanstyle is having none of it. OK we're going to have a standup here. Max Eisenhardt hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Eisenhardt misses the shot to the body. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kurt drops Emanuel with a beautiful combination! Emanuel stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Kurt is looking for the KO! This has been an exciting period of action! Emanuel fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Kurt sprawls well initially but Emanuel persists and gets the takedown into half guard. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Kurt looks like he's trying to stand up.
Kurt has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it. That must have hurt him. Big Kurt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A punch combination from Kurt misses. Kurt looks winded! Kurt lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Emanuel circles away quickly and effectively. Emanuel bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Emanuel throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Kurt is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Emanuel has just dragged him back down to the mat. Emanuel in side control lands a decent elbow.

Emanuel is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Kurt's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems. Kurt throws a nice looking combination but Emanuel bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Kurt takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Kurt lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Kurt. Emanuel dodges the punch combination from Kurt.

Emanuel gets the takedown into side control. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! The strikes coming from Emanuel are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Kurt wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Kalle Emanuel has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Emanuel wants to control but Kurt is keeping him busy.

Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Jensen screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

A relieved looking Martin Jensen thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it. In defeat, Ong Bak stepped up to the mic, saying 'Osssss'.
