Kulap Metharom decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.

MeatsFlesh comes to the ring accompanied by Call to Arms. The crowd seem to be enjoying Musashi's choice of entrance music: Sword of the Stranger - Mukoh Hadan. Axe MeatsFlesh could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Ryu Musashi's chin.

Ryu Musashi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Musashi fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. MeatsFlesh looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
MeatsFlesh uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Musashi.
Musashi looks to land a left hand but MeatsFlesh moved out of range nicely.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Musashi cracks MeatsFlesh on the jaw with a powerful right hand and MeatsFlesh falls backwards against the ropes. Musashi follows up with more strikes that drop MeatsFlesh to his knees. Musashi keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save MeatsFlesh! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ryu Musashi!
A relieved looking Ryu Musashi thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
In defeat, Axe MeatsFlesh stepped up to the mic, saying 'I apologize for my loss, give it up for Anand '.
