Longhold closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Bresner did well to prevent Longhold getting side control.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanguin rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Silva moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Sanguin stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Sanguin wants it to stay on the feet.
Sanguin has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Silva walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

It looks like Chuck Silva has been cut.

Sanguin catches Silva napping and connects with a big right hand that sends Silva to the canvas!

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Kure. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Bling shoots for a double leg takedown but Ponjev sprawls well. He's pushed Bling's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Bling walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
