The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Nightwolf lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Labak has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Labak and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Nightwolf looks to land a body kick but Labak moved away.
Nightwolf just misses with a punch to the body.
Nightwolf uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Labak.

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Labak might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Nightwolf has got the better of the exchanges.

Labak feints and as Nightwolf raises his hands in defense, Labak changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Labak won't allow Nightwolf to sweep him here.

Nightwolf is looking to regain half guard here but Labak keeps moving and retains side control.

Labak tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Labak has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Nightwolf is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

Labak working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Nightwolf is trying to improve his position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Labak works to advance to full mount. Nightwolf defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Nightwolf stops Labak from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better.

Bluth's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Cage connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Bluth scrambles back to his feet.
Bluth is trying desperately to land a takedown but Cage is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Bluth.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Nygard crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Centurion - the referee stops the clock and Nygard gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Centurion. Nygard manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
We've been hearing reports that Nygard has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
