Levasqua drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Leone manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Levasqua has Leone in his guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Ming cracks a nice hook into Pierre's ribs.
Pierre is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Pierre looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Pierre tries to sprawl but Ming drives through with a takedown into half guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Ming takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Ming knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Pierre on the ground.
Pierre won't allow Ming to pass to mount.
Ming seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Paul Ming just wasn't active enough.
Ming connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Pierre tumbling to the canvas! Ming pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Pierre was done - good stoppage!
