The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
George cracks Garcia with a good jab.
Garcia throws a push kick but George slaps the foot to one side.
George dips to his left and cracks Garcia with an uppercut!

George steps into range and cracks Garcia with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Garcia flops backwards and George dives into his guard looking to finish!

It looks like Alex Garcia has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
George trying to control the position from guard on top but Garcia is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
George has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
George throws a big elbow that misses.

George stands up from Garcia's guard - George perhaps looking for a knockout.
George connects with a jab.
George throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Garcia moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
George lands with a big right hook that stumbles Garcia - he's out on his feet here! George follows up with another monster hook that separates Garcia from consciousness! Garcia falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! George stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Carson takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Carson's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Romanski connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Carson scrambles back to his feet.
Romanski is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Romanski stuns Carson with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Romanski drops Carson with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Carson looks back up at him and smiles so Romanski waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Gauge shoots in looking for a takedown but Anadrade manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Gauge's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Baba is working to tighten his grip on Dagenais's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Dagenais has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Baba is really squeezing tight and eventually Dagenais passes out! Baba breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Jutras gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Jutras apologises and we restart here on the feet.

After the fight, Benoit Jutras was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
