1 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jan Jasper! The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Wagner Zegers and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A left and a right from Jasper both land. Nice combination. Huang bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Jasper felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Jasper is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Huang is controlling him well. Huang tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Huang is looking to take a break and control but Jasper is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Jasper wants to get back to his feet but Huang drags him back down. Huang tries to move to mount but Jasper blocks the move with his legs. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Huang has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Jasper is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Huang yanks on the arm and Jasper is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Huang.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kush ducks under a wild hook from Gillmore. Gillmore dips down and scores with a jab to the body. A decent looking cross lands there for Kush. Kush looks for a takedown but Gillmore sprawls well. Martin Gillmore seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Gillmore swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Kush decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Gillmore's guard. Gillmore is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Kush really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Kush is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Kush sitting in guard, not really doing much. Kush will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kush throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Gillmore keeping moving, preventing Kush from controlling successfully. Gillmore utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Gillmore has momentary wrist control but Kush slips an elbow through the middle. Kush with a flurry of punches that miss. Gillmore is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Kush stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gillmore swivels though and keeps the full guard. Kush has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Martin Gillmore was stalling too much, according to the referee. Gillmore leaves Kush with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Kush connects with a body shot that sends Gillmore's belly button to the back. Kush paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Kush closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Gillmore to the mat! Gillmore manages to get full guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Kush trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Kush is looking to work some ground and pound but Gillmore has wrist control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kush missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kush wants to control from the top but Gillmore keeps moving. Gillmore working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Kush. Kush lands a couple of digs. Kush throwing strikes but missing. Gillmore is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Kush postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kush accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Gillmore throws a right hand that Kush ducks under and follows up with a left that Kush also avoids with ease. Martin Gillmore is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Gillmore swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Gillmore misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Kush closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Kush landing a few strikes. Gillmore is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Kush trying to control the action but Gillmore is working from the bottom. Gillmore is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Kush creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Kush looks up at the clock and then as Gillmore takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Kush smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Gillmore really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kush. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Gillmore is staying active underneath Kush, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Bubba Kush is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bourbon Conde fails with a takedown attempt. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! A momentary lapse in concentration from Fukasawa enables Bourbon Conde to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Fukasawa manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Bourbon Conde is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Bourbon Conde drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Bourbon Conde jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Bourbon Conde has gone for a leg lock! Fukasawa slips out almost immediately though and dives into Bourbon Conde's guard. Bourbon Conde pushes a forearm under Fukasawa's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Fukasawa is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Maruyama waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract May. May throws a big shot that misses. May looks to score with a jab to the body but Maruyama is just out of range. Maruyama tries to close the distance and clinch up but May swats him away and circles back towards the center. Maruyama avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Maruyama shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. May manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Maruyama tries to free his leg and advance position but May is retaining full guard. Indian keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Benn shoots in for a takedown but Indian shows good takedown defense. Benn thows a leg kick but Indian checks it and Indian counters with a straight right hand. Benn shoots in for a takedown but Indian shows good takedown defense. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for mr Benn. That's going to take a lot out of him. Benn dives in for a single leg takedown but Indian sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Indian with an attempt at a knee that misses.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Indian tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Benn wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Benn swings around for an armbar but Indian sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Benn's guard. Benn is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Benn looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. We've been hearing that Goose has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Meyer fails with a takedown attempt. Meyer shoots in for a takedown but Medeiros shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Medeiros thows a body shot but no joy. Medeiros shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Meyer napping and manages to drive through into side control! Medeiros wants to lay and pray for a moment but Meyer keeps working. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Meyer tries to buck Medeiros off but Medeiros is having none of it. Meyer manages to work his way to half guard, despite Medeiros's best efforts. Meyer tries to get to full guard but Medeiros has control of the leg. Medeiros lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Niupulusu throws the kick towards the body but Bradshaw avoids it. Niupulusu loads up on a big right hand but Bradshaw slips the punch. Niupulusu throws a right and a left that both miss. Bradshaw scores with a jab. Niupulusu acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Niupulusu just misses with a punch to the body.
A big left from Bradshaw misses. Niupulusu has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Niupulusu lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad.
