0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Mickey Wong! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Winston Alpacca and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kurosawa swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Kurosawa misses the shot to the body. Wong looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Kurosawa is looking to control Wong's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Kurosawa avoid being mounted? Kurosawa pushes Wong off looking to stand but Wong dives back in and keeps control.
Wong controlling the action here. Kurosawa is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kurosawa has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Wong is working away from the top position though.
Mickey Wong has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Kurosawa.
Kurosawa lands a brutal head kick. Wong looks out on his feet and Kurosawa throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick and Punches). Takeshi Kurosawa! Takeshi Kurosawa tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wu fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Morrison dives in and grabs Wu's left leg, looking for a takedown. Wu pushes down on Morrison's head and hops out. Wu connects with a body shot that sends Morrison's belly button to the back. Wu lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Wu catches Morrison with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Wu lands a head shot. Morrison closes the distance and pushes Wu back into the cage. Morrison has hold of one of Wu's legs. Wu is fighting the takedown attempt but Morrison gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Morrison thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Wu is trying to control the position but Morrison postures up. Morrison controlling from the top position. Morrison's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. We've been hearing good reports from Morrison's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Blake Morrison. Wu slaps away a takedown attempt from Morrison, before circling back to the center of the mat. Morrison needs to keep his hands up - Wu had a free shot at his head there. Morrison has a takedown stuffed. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Blake Morrison. That's going to take a lot out of him. Morrison gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Morrison closes this distance looking for a takedown but Wu circles away. Morrison tries for a takedown but Wu sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Morrison is breathing heavily. Wu keeps the fight on the outside. Wu scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Wu changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. A left lands for Wu. Morrison on the wrong end of a nice jab. Morrison goes for a double leg but Wu avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Wu continues to drive forward. Morrison jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Wu walks away with a smile on his face. Morrison gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Wu throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Wu fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Morrison takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Morrison dives in for a single leg takedown but Wu sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Wu being controlled against the cage. Morrison wants a takedown.

Wu tries to work over Morrison's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Wu goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Wu lands a shoulder strike. Wu is defending well against a takedown attempt. Morrison is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Wu is defending well. Wu misses with a body punch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wu swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Morrison tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Wu smiles and moves away.
Morrison shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Wu as he avoids it easily. Wu dips down and scores with a jab to the body. A jab lands there for Wu. Wu swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Morrison. Morrison shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Wu sprawls well. Wu wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Morrison gets slowly back to his feet. Qing Wu is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Wu with a hook. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Wu bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Wu connects with a body shot. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Morrison takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Wu is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Morrison had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté. Morrison on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Wu lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Wu thuds his right hand into Morrison's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Wu lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Wu lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Morrison at a distance.
A shot to the liver by Wu. Beautiful body shot. Wu fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Morrison takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Wu has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Wu scores with a hook to the body. Morrison takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Wu feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Morrisons jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Wu is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Nice cross by Wu. Wu wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Wu cracks a nice hook into Morrison's ribs. Morrison with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Wu to score with a decent uppercut. Morrison looks for a takedown but Wu sprawls well. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Wu connects with a nice looking jab.
Qing Wu seems to be getting the better of the standup. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Wu defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Morrison. Morrison on the wrong end of a nice hook. Morrison closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Blake Morrison is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

We've been informed that Wu has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Morrison looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Wu lands a body shot.

Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Wu lands a nice hook to Morrison's body. Morrison takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Morrison takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Qing Wu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Wu connects with a body shot. Wu scores with a hook to the body. Morrison takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Nice body punch from Wu. Nice uppercut lands for Wu. That snapped Morrison's head back.
Wu throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Morrison on the side of the head. Wu leaves Morrison with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Wu lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Morrison looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. Wu scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Wu fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

Morrison gets to his feet - Wu follows without any prompting. Morrison takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Morrison looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Wu! Morrison advances to mount. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Morrison with the ground and pound from mount. That's one minute gone in the round. Wu really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Morrison. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Morrison lands a couple of decent looking shots. Morrison controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Morrison sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Wu's guard. Wu trying to control from the bottom.
Morrison winds up and cracks Wu with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Morrison working over Wu with some ground and pound. Wu looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Morrison lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Morrison looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Morrison has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Wu defend it? Morrison steps over the head and cranks it - Wu is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Morrison!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A momentary lapse in concentration from Bailey enables Lanovoy to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Bailey manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Lanovoy throws a big right hand that misses. Bailey looking to hit a scissor sweep but Lanovoy is one step ahead there. Lanovoy throws a strike but Bailey rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Lanovoy has Bailey pulled in close to control his posture. Bailey stands and steps away. Lanovoy gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Bailey drives through with a takedown into guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Bailey passes easily into side control. Nice work. Bailey looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Bailey manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Lanovoy with a poor takedown and Bailey counters with a shoot takedown. Lanovoy fights it but they end up in guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bailey trying to control the position from guard on top but Lanovoy is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bailey decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Lanovoy, up you get! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Lanovoy clinches up with Bailey and pushes him back against the cage. Bailey fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

Lanovoy defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Bailey's arms.

Lanovoy fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Bailey, pushing him back against the cage. Lanovoy has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Bailey after a bit of a struggle. Lanovoy goes for a takedown attempt but Bailey pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Lanovoy throws an overhand right that lands on Bailey's shoulder, as Bailey tries to avoid the shot. Bailey tries to close the distance and clinch up but Lanovoy swats him away and circles back towards the center. Lanovoy misses the shot to the body. Bailey misses with a head kick.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Slaughter swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Slaughter has a takedown stuffed. Bennett lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Slaughter tries to clinch there but Bennett circles away.
Slaughter throws a combination that misses and Bennett counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Slaughter scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Bennett throws the left hand but Slaughter avoids the punch easily. Bennett is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Slaughter takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Bennett jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.

Bennett has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Slaughter takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Marama lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Leonit is rocked! Leonit walks straight into a right hand from Marama - that's dropped him! Marama jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Leonit from any more punishment! Leonit complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
