The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Murphy darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Murphy is working for a kimura but Wall is defending it quite comfortably.

Murphy is pressing down on Wall's thigh, looking to free his foot. Wall is holding on for now. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Wall is refusing to be controlled, as Murphy sits in half guard. Murphy is really struggling to control Wall but he's trying to hold on to the position.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Reaper closes the distance and clinches. Reaper lands a nice knee to the body. Ortega wants to get back to striking at distance but Reaper won't allow it.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nguyen pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Nguyen fails to land with a series of punches.
Nguyen cracks P Sonnen with a good jab. The fighters circling - P Sonnen throws out the jab but it was never going to land. P Sonnen dodges the punch combination from Nguyen.
P Sonnen tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Nguyen swivels and escapes. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A swing and a miss from Wenker. Silva will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Silva shoots in and drives through. Wenker sprawls well. Wenker closes the distance and clinches up with Silva, looking for a takedown. Wenker pushes Silva against the cage but Silva circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Silva keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Wenker. Silva is looking to clinch. Nice sprawl there from Wenker as Silva shoots in. Wenker should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Silva tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Silva wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Wenker has him pressed against the cage. Wenker has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Silva avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Silva jumps guard but Wenker turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Silva lands a body punch in the clinch. Silva trying to control the position but instead, Wenker has worked for underhooks and has pushed Silva into the cage. Silva is trying to push Wenker away but Wenker has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Wenker escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Silva gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wenker is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Wenker controlling the action here. Silva wants to get back to his feet. Wenker working Silva over with strikes.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wenker landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Wenker decides to stand and escape the position. Silva is looking to clinch. Wenker clinches. Silva is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Wenker takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Silva tries to pull guard but Wenker holds him up against the cage and eventually Silva drops back down to his feet.

Silva missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Wenker bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Silva's guard. Silva not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Wenker stands up from Silva's guard - Wenker perhaps looking for a knockout. Silva lands a jab-cross combination. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
